UPDATE: the owner reached out when she learned of my experience. I appreciate it when businesses care about customer service and try to make it right - the 2nd cake was pretty good.

Ordered a matcha tiramisu cake from Fumie's -- the owner was very nice, her communication is speedy and clear which I really appreciated. Their prices are also very reasonable and their website is easy to navigate and order from which I loved.

The cake was a disappointment - We cut through the cake and the entire thing collapsed. It was not set completely like my other cake was, the layers were pretty messy and the ratio of cake to mascarpone and sweet cream was off. The cake desperately needed more sweet cream and there wasn't enough.

Will not purchase from this...

This happened while ago since I refused shop at this establishment. Fumie is absolutely rude and obnoxious he she treats some of the customers. I used go there all the time and one day I asked her to put one of my purchases into separate container so I can take it to my friend. Fumie smashed cake into small round tapper wear stated she does not have a small box. Cake looked unrecognizable compared original appearance. She also made horrible rude remarks about my husband appearance. She has worst customer service if she thinks she can get away with that behavior. Cake tastes ok. I just don’t like how I was treated. I will never buy...

I ordered a 6” strawberry shortcake just a few days before my birthday and it was exactly what I wanted. This is a Japanese style shortcake, professionally made, much taller/ big than expected and with lots of strawberries inside and on top! For an American palate it might be considered on the “mild sweet” side, but to me it was perfect amount of sweetness and softness, great with some green or black tea! They were able to write the message in Spanish perfectly ⭐️ You have to follow the instructions to pick up as they are inside another business, but it’s super easy and you can text message them to ask...
