Happened by Aceituno's Mexican Food in Kirkland. This older building made it look like a definite "maybe" - but decided to give it a try. SO glad I did! I ordered the chile relleno & it was excellent: a large perfectly cooked pepper stuffed with oozing yummy melted cheese, rice fluffy and fresh, beans tasted like homemade. Everything hot & fresh (the dark green in the pix is the cilantro I requested). About $12 and well worth it because the food was of such good quality and soooo tasty. Comes with tortillas. Service was fast & friendly. This restaurant is a Keeper.
UPDATE: Went back to Aceituno's for their $1.50 Taco Tuesday. Since it was my first, I ordered 1 Fish & 1 Carne Asada soft taco. Tacos appeared small at first, but they are so chock full of meat (see photo of all that beef) & fillings that, after the 2 tacos, I was stuffed! Fish was OK but the carne was excellent! Again, everything very fresh & flavorful. High quality ingredients & good prices. Drive-thru service was fast, efficient, and courteous.
2nd Update: Went back on Taco Tuesday & tried their crispy tacos. EXCELLENT! - even better than...
Read moreIt’s Cinco de Mayo so maybe that accounts for the lack of response? We ordered food online around 4:30pm. The order still says “pending” more than an hour later. I tried calling the number a dozen times. No response and mailbox is full (mailbox was full the first time I called at 5pm). Do I need to execute plan B? I’d much rather have this place than Chipotle, but it’s looking like that’s not an option. I will be contesting the charge if it shows up on my card, as we never received our food. I get that this is a strained time and all, so I’m not angry, but no communication is just poor planning and poor service. I hope you guys survive past this, as I would eventually like to taste your food and find out what everyone is raving about. For now though, this was a big bummer. Your ads about cinco de Mayo should be taken off Facebook as they...
Read moreI picked an order that included a strawberry filled churro, but the one I was given had no filling it was a regular one. Then I went back to the drive through window, and told them. They made me wait a few min, then ASKED for my partially eaten churro back before they would make me a correct strawberry one. THEN the rep said the manager wanted to speak to me and HANDED me a phone lol I talk to the manager and she tries to tell me the original churro I was give DID have strawberry filling and that I needed to have looked inside 😂 I'm like dude I'm Mexican I know how churros work. I ask the rep to bring the original one back and we double check and yup it had no filling. Finally they give me the correct one after wasting an extra 10 min in the drive through just to fix a mistake and there was no extra "sorry" item given to me.
What is up...
