Good coffee shop to study, work or meet people at. There are plenty of outlets and tables. The tables are a little low so doesn't allow for optimal/correct sitting posture. This place could be 5 stars but I didn't see tables get clean/wiped down once. I been here multiple times during weekdays for hours at once. At other coffeeshops I am use to seeing tables getting wiped down when it is slow or on a schedule. The water station offers disposable one time use cups which I don't find environmentally friendly. There is also reusable plastic cups. They serve breakfast and lunch food items (sandwiches) and some pastry items (muffins, croissants, cookies, coffee cake). The drinks here are not as sweet as most places. From mocha to cold brew to their affogato, they have tasted fine. Depending on how many people are in front of you it, service speed varies. I have always see. two people working ( one cashiers and other makes drink). The longest I have waited is about 15 minutes. This coffeeshop has boardgames like battleship, connect four and chess to name a few. There are no private meeting rooms as far as I can tell. They also sell coffee beans and shirts with their name on it. One gender neutral restroom. There is a parking lot and street parking.

Breakfast burritos served with cold potatoes- always 🫤😩 Can’t order it anymore jn the hopes that it will actually get cooked, as I continually ask if can be cooked longer and not sure if just going through the motions or…? Seems like an established place but haven’t worked this kink out or don’t seem willing to is what I’ve gathered - after 5 months of trying it out. Even if I call ahead and ask to put in sooner so I don’t have to wait - they ask me to just stick to the online ordering basically and act busy - although when I got there around 11 on a Monday morning it’s dead and all they’re doing is taking selfies outside instead of trying to understand what I’m asking… lame. For a neighborhood coffee place - service is blah and meh. I literally refer this place as the ā€œblah-meh ok cafeā€ place when I tell people about it šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸŒÆā„ļøšŸ„”āŒ

The location & aesthetics of the place are really nice. Tucked on the corner of an intersection close to Totem Lake. Ordered a Mocha, and was skeptical about it when I saw the barista use Cocoa powder and rushing through the whisking process. Later just poured hot milk into the cup only to spill a generous portion of it. Called out for the order pick up and didn’t care to wipe the cup until I asked for a napkin. The place wasn’t crowded, didn’t really understand the hurry. Personally, didn’t quite like the mocha. I hope this is an exception.

DO NOT GO HERE. It’s only been 13 days since ownership changed and this place has completely gone down the toilet. The new owner is self absorbed to the point he changed the name of this cafe to be after him. His name is Arthur but he goes by ā€œArtā€.. who screams unprofessionalism & lacks proper guest service skills. Look at his responses to poor reviews, bashing previous employees & speaking bad of the previous owner who everyone loved. Before I went to write my review, I see that he responded to another’s review and called them petty. That is not the professional way to respond to one’s review.. I’m shocked. But this review is more about the bigger blonde young woman that served me. I ordered the most simple drink, it was a 12 oz latte…. when I say it was the most disgusting and bitter latte I’ve ever had in my 27 years of living, I can’t make this up. When I walked in she was standing behind the counter talking to another employee, looked at me, smirked, and went back to talking to them for a good minute before saying ā€œsorry what can I get for you?ā€.. and don’t even ask about their hygiene & food/drink handling practices. I watched as she grabbed my cup from the inside with her fingers all over without washing hands after touching the payment screen. I was horrified. This place has turned to be so mediocre. Please SAVE your money and go to 203° in Totem Lake or Zoka in...

I visit often this coffee shop and found the atmosphere to be quite lovely—it's pet-friendly, which is a big plus, and the owner is genuinely a nice guy who creates a welcoming environment. However, I believe there is room for improvement, particularly when it comes to the food offerings.

While the coffee itself is enjoyable, I would love to see a more diverse breakfast menu that features a greater variety of delicious options. As a coffee lover, I appreciate a good brew, but I also look for accompanying food that complements my experience. Expanding the breakfast selection could really enhance the overall appeal of the cafe.

On a brighter note, most of the staff members are friendly and attentive, which adds to the warmth of the place. However, I had a rather off-putting experience with one particular barista, who I believe is one of the older members of the team. Unfortunately, her attitude seemed less than welcoming. At times, she appeared to give a forced smile, and I noticed her rolling her eyes during interactions. This behavior created an uncomfortable vibe, which stood out against the otherwise friendly atmosphere.

Overall, I truly enjoy the vibe of this coffee shop and appreciate its potential. With an expanded menu and some attention to staff demeanor, particularly with the barista's attitude, I believe this place could become a go-to...

So this particular location has changed hands a few times. A few years ago, it was urban COFFEE lounge. They had fantastic coffee, great staff and was an awesome place to go. It later became Visible coffee. The coffee was not as good but decent. Now it has become art of coffee. Unfortunately the coffee from att of coffee is very low quality coffee, extremely bitter. I’ve tried the drip, cortado and latte, and I would definitely Not have it again. I’ve been around coffee roasters in Australia and I know as a coffee taster the quality of bean, and roasting needed for a high quality coffee. I hope we can bring back some good coffee again. We need more places with smooth coffee.

So I’m just going to add to my first review here and I’ve bumped into many people that used to go to visible and it’s consistent. They’re all going to the competitors or other boutique coffee because the coffee is extremely dark. It’s burnt, quality is much lower overall from service to food, and now I understand why the other local coffee places are extremely busy since visible left. so all I can say is I hope we can bring back what was working…as the good old adage says,if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. so for that location to be a happy place again we just need to go back...
