Men's Wearhouse is essentially the Walmart of formal-wear. If you go in with that mindset, you'll be ok. If you're looking for any more than that, prepare to be disappointed.
We came in to purchase a suit for an upcoming wedding. Upon entering, nobody acknowledged us or offered service. After about 15 minutes, I reached out to a busy staff member who eventually did put another staff member onto us.
I can't remember the name of the gentleman who fitted me, but the man had a bit of an air of superiority. Perhaps he's living in a fantasy world where he's outfitting the Kingsmen, but sir, this is a Men's Wearhouse.
We were generally rushed through after finding an appropriate pant & jacket combo with measurements taken. We expected the tailored suit to be ready in about 10 days, but received a ready for pickup email a few days early.
This place is about an hour away from my house. We drove out for pickup and were told the pants weren't ready as they didn't have any measurements. This was 2 days after I received the "ready for pickup" email, which listed both items as ready. It was pretty disappointing that the pants were not ready at that time, and further, nobody had thought to call to let me know they had not recorded measurements for the pants.
This meant that I had made a nearly 2 hour round trip for almost no reason (measurements notwithstanding). To some extent, I was relieved I had driven out there. Had I waited until the designated pickup day, the pants may have delayed my pickup further, dangerously close to my event date.
New measurements were taken, and I returned the following day. Everything was complete. The fit was perfect, nothing bad to say about the tailor on staff.
Sales staff could be more helpful.
Overall, a "just-ok" experience. Caution: minor inconvenience to...
Read moreHorrible experience! Came in with my fiance to look for his wedding tux. We didn't know options or colors and just wanted to figure out his preferences/style before buying. We made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and they did not prepare for us. The first woman that helped us was only concerned whether we were renting or buying. Since she seemed set on making us decide then and there we said renting, though we weren't sure and just wanted to look at styles first. Since we were "renters" she did not put in effort for measuring/styling as another gentleman in the store who was helping another man try on his tux with measuring, adjusting cuffs, giving advice while he stood in the mirror, etc. She would ONLY give us options that were available for rent, though we repeatedly explained that we were not sure if we would rent and would like to look at options for renting and buying, whether it was in my fiancé's size or not.
She did not check up on us and we had to get assistance from ANOTHER woman in the store who also had no knowledge of different suit collar styles when asked and also seemed unwilling to help us decide on a style.
Overall we had a very poor experience and left as quickly as we could to buy a Tux at another small business Tuxedo shop that actually took the time to give my fiance the help we would like as someone looking for a tux for their wedding.
It's an okay place to pick up a quick tux for an event that isn't that important, but for your wedding or another big event I would...
Read moreI only went to men's Wearhouse because my wife got her dress from Davids bridal and they gave us a $40 off all tuxedo rentals. They wouldn't take it but they kept raising the price. when I went to get fitted my first time they just came up with random prices without knowing I'd been online and knew how much it should be costing us. Started at $189.00 plus fees and taxes. It was supposed to be $112.00. They told me they fixed it. My groomsmen go to pick pay and the price is now $140 for all five groomsmen. We get them and I'm the groom and my shirt didn't fit and the Kissimmee mens Wearhouse employees didn't care at all. When I met up with my groomsmen, two people also had shirts that were too big or too small and two others had pants that were too big. Two of us had silver cuff links and four people had gold cuff links. A few different managers were nice and told me they fixed the price but it changed back to a higher amount three times. Worst place ever, they'll try to over charge whenever they can!!!! Plus the regular employees are rude and clearly don't care about doing their jobs right because something...
