T.J. Maxx — Local services in Kissimmee

I'm a huge fan of TJ Maxx. I have shopped there for years. However, this was the first time that I have ever been in this particular store. I was in Florida visiting my brother, who is in the hospital. I forgot my hairdryer. So I ran into TJ Maxx to purchase one. I was shocked as soon as I walked in. The entire store was a complete mess! Items laying around in the wrong departments, the beauty section had no order to it. It looked like someone opened up a box of shipment and just threw it on the first shelf they saw. Items out of their boxes. It was just a total mess. I have never been to a TJ Maxx that was so messy, unorganized, and in such shambles. I found a hairdryer, went to the line to pay for it, and found myself waiting for over 15 minutes in line. Yes, there was a long line. But they had six or seven registers going, and I was probably the 8th customer back. So it shouldn't have taken that long. But the reason it did was because of the lack of urgency and proficiency of the cashiers. They were extremely slow and didn't seem to care about customers waiting. One of the cashiers that I have posted a picture of below was so blatantly obvious about trying not to wait on customers that it blew my mind that the others weren't getting upset with her. She was extremely slow ringing up items, she would then take only one hanger at a time to hang up in a area behind her instead of taking a stack of them, she would slowly walk around piddling with items on the cash wrap station, walk down to speak to other cashiers as the rang up customers, and do whatever she could do to stall. I counted that the cashier beside her took 3 customers to her one and called for her 4th. before this lady finished with her customer, which did not have a lot of items. It was so bad that I made sure to get a picture of her. As a previous manager of a retail location for over 17 years, this is the type of employee that costs you money and time. I would not have allowed her to work for me! So, all in all, this was the worst experience I have ever had at TJ Maxx and the worst employees by far. I am just happy that this is not the store I would have to go to on a regular basis, or I would no longer be a TJ...

love the store and to shop here. my issue is with customer service, it LACKS. the PM supervisor needs some sensitivity training and better soft skills. my wife choose 2 items, went to register, the items scanned and all of a sudden one wasnt on clearance. had the sticker from TJMAX perfectly placed on THEIR tag on the item saying it was marked down. didnt want to respect the price that was advertised. supervisor Peeled the sticker off (at this point it was impossible for the sticker to be placed on any other tag) then said that customers do it all the time to take stickers off something and put it on something else. both the tag and sticker had obvious signs that this had been done. manager comes and just says sorry its full price. explained the situation and her reply again was the same, people do it all the time we always see it. ended up paying full price since my wife did want the item. supervisor at one point said I CAME AT HER. i was upset at the situation and had a serious tone, never yelled, used profanity or was rude to her in any way. TJMAX store should own up to their mistake and should have respected the price on the sticker placed on the item advertising it as a marked down item that was on a clearance rack. bad...

Security was weird and ruined my shopping experience. He may be a new employee bcs shop here all the time & never seen him before. loved coming here until today. didn't like feeling harassed. Hopefully TJ Maxx train security guards properly idc if im followed just be sure I do not notice you following me everywhere and dissappear after I pay for my things like there aren't other ppl in the store that needs to be supervised but oh I forgot only black ppl gets followed in stores in Kissimmee. Hence why all of your products are missing from boxes because you're watching people who don't steal and the people who do steal are watching you 😉 the irony.

Update: visited TJ Maxx today. Same thing! Waited in long line. Called up to Cashier with the light flashing; get there and no 1 is there lol then the light was turned off. I just left my items on the counter and left.

I guess they are still mad about my last review. Which doesnt do anything but...
