China Gourmet — Restaurant in Kissimmee

China Gourmet has been a staple in our family home for twelve years. We love ordering China Gourmet for lunches and dinner. I am usually the #1 fan, and I am always happy to suggest us order delivery or to pick-up. We have tried many of China Gourmet’s dishes, but my absolute favorite is Honey Chicken with White Rice. I always ask for my Honey Chicken to be extra crispy, and it makes such a difference - I also add in some salt. Our family favorite is Pepper Steak with Onion with Pork Fried Rice - we have ordered this dish so many times, even to share with our visiting family members and friends. Even my grandmother who has come to see us from Cartagena, Colombia has had it, and was very impressed, and she is not easy to please. To those reading, whether you’re looking for a new authentic Chinese take-out experience or you’re a regular customer, I highly recommend China Gourmet due to its consistency, its dependability, its commitment to fresh and delicious food in a reasonable time frame, but also it is run by a wonderful, kind, loving, and welcoming family. The Lunch Menu is a great way to try China Gourmet for a cheap price, along with a side or a drink. Sometimes, it’s just nice to see the same faces. I know them, and they know me and they’re always happy to see me: Jessica, Honey Chicken!, the Disney employee who comes by after a long day of work in her uniform. I must also mention (and applaud) that China Gourmet set up an efficient system during the pandemic to keep their customers, as well as themselves, safe and healthy. I am always glad to come by and see them busy, and I’m always excited to sit and wait in my car, as well as seeing many other customers parked in their cars too. I can’t help myself, and start eating when I get my order. There will be a day where I will be moving on: quitting Disney, applying to graduate school, and being on my way, leaving Orlando behind. I recently moved to this area and only order Chinese food when I’m craving it, as a general rule. When I do get it, I usually order about $50 worth to last me a week so my craving is sated. I typically don’t order again for another few months- you know, when another craving hits. This place makes me crave it all the time. Seriously! I had the veggie fried rice and the first thing I noticed is the veggies are manageable. There aren’t entire “trees” of broccoli that take 4 bites to consume. And the best part about the rice is that it’s not greasy! I got the chicken with mixed veggies and the chicken with mushrooms and both were delicious. The spring rolls were perfectly fried- they weren’t too dark and crispy on the outside and weren’t mushy on the inside. I order several time when they was at the sedano location plaza and was so so and rice was hard. I should go and teach them how to make fried rice. I Am very disappointed. Now i. Know why they move from other location

I order food yesterday at 4:49pm for delivery. The order was large wonton soup, small pork fried rice and a large order of BBQ RIB. THE RICE WAS HARD NOT COOK PROPERLY, THE RIB OLD AND LIKE RUBBER, THE WONTON WAS ALSO RUBER. IT WAS MICROWAVE HEATED.

THE FOOD WAS OLD AND READ HEADED. I AM A CHEF FOR OVER 25 YEAR. IT WAS POISON AND I HAD DIARRHEA ALL LAST NIGHT AND STILL TODAY. I CALL THEM 30 MINUTES AFTER THEY DELIVER. THE LADY SAID SHE WILL GIVE US CREDIT NEXT TIME WE ORDER. I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.
