Dear Thunderbird Supermarket Management,
I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the extremely poor customer service I received at your Klamath Falls location during a recent visit.
On 6/27/25, I experienced a problem with your lottery vending machine, which failed to dispense my tickets after taking my money. What followed was an unacceptable 25-minute ordeal during which your staff appeared confused, untrained, and ultimately unhelpful. Despite opening the machine twice, they made no effort to resolve the issue or offer a refund, instead continuing to âcircle aroundâ the problem without providing answers or solutions.
It was only after I spoke up again that the situation was even acknowledged properly, and even then, no compensation or assistance was offered. Given that your staff had access to the machine and could clearly verify the issue, the delay and lack of proactive service was baffling.
I walked away feeling not only robbed by the machine but also by the complete disregard shown by your staff. This kind of customer experience is unacceptable, especially from a business that many people in this community rely on.
I expect a formal response to this complaint and would appreciate being contacted regarding a refund or appropriate resolution for the money lost in...

Shermâs is one of my go-to spots when Iâm in Klamath Falls. The store has a great layout and is well-stocked with essentials. I really enjoy their bulk sectionâit has a solid selection of beans, rice, mixed nuts, and candy. I do wish they had more bulk spices, though.
The store is set up with the produce, meat, and dairy around the perimeter, and more processed items like canned goods and colorful boxed foods in the center aisles. Itâs a familiar and easy layout to navigate.
Prices are definitely a bargain, and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. The self-checkout is quick and convenient, especially if you have under 15 items. Plus, thereâs a huge parking lot with plenty of space, which is always a plus.
A heads-up: bring your own reusable bags. They only offer brown paper bags, and those tend to rip pretty easily. Also, I wouldnât recommend the bakeryâI found a hair in my cake, which was a big turnoff.
Overall, Shermâs is a solid, budget-friendly grocery store with great staff and a smooth...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised when I started shopping at Sherm's after Safeway left. The store owners are incredible citizens supporting the 4H animal sale where he has been the high bidder in many categories of animals. Beef, pork, sheep, rabbits, chicken raisers are lucky to have such generous support fron a Rogue Valley family. I know that many count on their generous policy of supporting Civic events, festivals, and parades. The local library also benefits from Sherm's giving attitude. Their store itself is quite large with probably the best health food section in town. Their vegetable section turns over large amounts of product so what you buy is fresh and seasonal in content. Sherm's bakery turns out consistent excellent products. Their champagne cake has been a winner for 30+ years. I am happy to support a store that gives so much to the county and employees 50+ workers. I'd look at Sherm's first. If he doesn't have an item you can ask and they'll be happy to try and bring it in. It's a...
