Sportsman can beat anyone's price, because their customer service doesn't beat anyone. I purchased a firearm online. I went to pick it up, it was no longer in stock, the manager refunded my money to a closed bank account. I still had money to purchase a different firearm and I stood there waiting for help for too long. I spoke with other customers and was never helped. The woman at the gun counter with the cowboy hat was colder than ice. She never even looked at me and I was holding a new born baby. I left with a phone number to their customer service department so I could sort out my own refund. I had to sit in the parking lot fornone hour talking to sportsman's billing department. I went there to spend at least $1,000. I drove 445 miles to shop there for a prepurchased $600 pistol. I left with nothing but a phone number. I'll take my business to a smaller, more professional gun shop. There's a little mom and pop shop called Parkers down the way. I'm sure they will appreciate my family's business for generations to come. Best deals , worst service. What good is a great deal if nobody wants to sell you the deal? Still haven't gotten my refund. Got an email that they tried to cred the closed account again. Now I have to deal with their phone department and the wait is 60-70 minutes. I will never return...
Read moreWell at this point I am very disappointed in how our Sportsman's Warehouse has become. Let's see, two solid years of not having proper ammo stocked for the seasons that the hunting community in klamath participate in. Also whoever orders ammunition needs to be fired as the are not up with the times, nor do they no anything about the hunting community in klamath. To think that the majority here want to pay upwards of 35 a box for waterfowl ammo is crazy and hell they can't keep it stocked. It's pitiful to have to drive over to Medford to their sportsman's to actually get what you need. The old guy running the sporting goods counter has zero idea of weapons and their popularity. The man told me 28gauges are outdated and not used, byet they were ducks unlimited gun of the year the last two years running. Our Sportsman's has not been able to meet the needs of our community since COVID. I honestly think it may be time that the corporate management comes to the KLAMATH branch and takes control. Come ask the community what they want. And quit hiring know it all uneducated people that don't...
Read moreMy name is Mel. I'm retired and spend as much time as possible fly fishing. During the month of May I have made several visits to your store to buy odds and ends necessary to ready myself for the Summer's fishing season.
On one of my first visits, I met one of your employees, Glacier, who was patient with my questions, quick and thorough with the answers as well as going an extra step here and there with suggestions. He made me feel like I was the "only customer in the store." To say I was impressed would be an understatement. This guy is the whole package. When I walked into your store, I just needed to buy a few things. What I left with was, of course, my things and a whole lot more. I left knowing that whatever I needed, this was my go-to-guy. No stuttering, no need for additional assistance, no misinformation. You tell him what you are doing and what you need and boom, he understands the question because he listens and then delivers.
Quite frankly, Glacier might possibly be the most efficient retail person I've ever met and I've met many...
