On Tuesday, 12/3/2024 I dropped off a guitar I had to return and as soon as I entered the Knightdale UPS Store (#7708) I was greeted (sincerely!) by Cleveland - Since the seller had sent me the UPS label I was unsure about whether to close the container but Cleveland took care of it all, which was great because he clearly is MUCH better at pack(ag)ing than me, and since I wanted a full refund I was very happy to watch him do this thing. What a relief, I kid you not.
He was friendly, kind, professional and most of all, EFFICIENT!
I have used a lot of UPS stores, some good, some bad - I've lost refunds from amazon because they never received the return after dropping stuff off at other UPS's that shall remain nameless....to the point where I had to make sure I retained the receipts just to prove I sent the stuff.
This store is never crowded (although I do think they just do things better), they are super nice and the place is spotless. I am so glad I no longer have to shlep my stuff over to the New Bern store, although they do a great job there - they are just constantly slammed, though, and parking is an issue (not their fault).
I have visited the Knightdale store numerous times since they opened (man, I was SO happy when I found out) and every time has been nothing less than a positive experience.
That's pretty rare these days.

Read moreMy husband and I went into the Knightdale, NC UPS store to get a document notarized. There was 2-3 people in line ahead of us and about 3-4 employees working. We thought we would have to wait a little bit, And we were honestly on a time crunch. But each employee that was behind the desk immediately walked to a register and called a customer to help them, we were helped right away with an extremely helpful associate! Initially Tom helped us notarize our document. He was very friendly, helpful, and quick! About an hour or so after leaving we realized (our mistake) we wrote the wrong year for what we needed on our document. We knew we had to re-write it all out with the correct year, and go back to get it notarized again, but assumed we would have to pay an additional $10 fee. This time we were met with a notary public named Nova. She was super friendly, once we explained the situation she was quick to inform us she could easily notarize our new document no problem, and at no additional charge! All in all we had a great experience from this store and would definitely recommend to anyone, for all the services a UPS...
Read moreThey don't seem to know what they are doing. I asked to mail something certified/electronic return receipt the first person didn't understand, the second said he did. I went to track my letter and noticed the receipt says "Metered Mail Ground Advantage" but does not mention "certified/electronic return receipt". The tracking number on the receipt is not the tracking number from the certified label which was properly affixed to the envelope before I got there. The certified label number is no where on the receipt, although it was scanned by the clerk. When I try to track the tracking number on the receipt it can't be found. Thankfully, I saved the certified number elsewhere. When I tracked that number it indicated that the envelope is still moving through transit.
