While our server was very nice, she was clearly overwhelmed. We went in for the all you can eat crab legs which were great, but an hour into the feast they ran out and left my wife a little disappointed on her birthday. They charge $27.99 for the meal with two sides which is fair, but they add 1 cent for every refill on crabs which while small isn't mentioned. They charged my father a dollar extra for the onion rings he ordered as a side, but the sever didn't make him aware of the uncharge for them when he ordered and when the server was made aware, she had the manager / bartender come over to explain and she said she couldn't do anything about it. Lastly, I didn't have the crab. I had the French Onion soup for my appetizer and the brisket for my meal. She brought the soup with the meal and when I asked her to remake it as I didn't want it getting cold while I enjoyed my soup, she said her cook was already mad at her and she didn't want to approach her with that statement. Sadly and because I didn't trust the cook to remake the meal instead of keeping it under the heat lamp where I could see it being kept, I cancelled the entree and only had the soup. The all you can eat crab in my wife's opinion was worth the shortfalls on service. Personally I would eat elsewhere if you had the option until the management of this establishment placed his customers satisfaction above or at least equal to his...
Read moreFarewell. This is (used to be) typical local bar with good menu and quality bites. Has gradually gone downhill. When its not busy on a Friday night should be a hint.
Food ordered - Chicken Nachos, and Sampler appetizer. Nachos sent back - practically no toppings. They just dumped some extra cheese and reheated. Chips so torched and still no toppings - had it taken off the bill.
Sampler platter - Chicken fingers overcooked to point there was no chicken/too hard to eat. Potatoe skins were 'ok'. Wings - slightly overcooked but still edible. Cheesesticks? Overcooked to point there was no cheese!
All that on top of no drinks on tap - no soda or beer due to no Co2.
This isn't just a bad experience. Been coming here for years and enjoying Wed poker among other nights. But it has been a steady decline and tonight was just the last straw. Every place else in and around that shopping area is fine for eats - but SportsPage just aint it anymore.
Its dark and quiet like we like it - but won't be going back again. Hello Buffalo Wild wing. Food and service will be better despite the crowds and noise that will be there. But at least the money spent will be on things that...
Read moreMy husband & I have been visiting Sports Page for a number of years sporadically. It’s always been the “go-to” place for a night cap after dinner, not wanting to “call it a night” It’s convenient, “hometown” & a fella who chose Knightdale to open an eatery & bar. My husband & I, he who was born here & i, an implant from a farming community, have always been one who support & want our Knightdale Community to grow & thrive. We also have a business here & know how we should all support small businesses. We have realized a growth, reinforcing & evolution of Sports Page. My husband & I have watched a young man who has been with this establishment for awhile grow, digress & finally find his own.way. We are so proud of him for his perseverance, And so aware of this owner who saw something in this young man & gave him responsibility, encouragement & a chance to show his ability. All of us knew it was there. We love & are so proud of this young man, who we all knew was/is great & I for one am so proud of. Kyle, we are so very...
