Caribbean Kicker — Restaurant in Knightdale

Walked up to this food truck and was immediately greeted by amazing smells! The gentleman working the counter wasn't overly talkative but that's fine, the man was focused.

I ordered a Caribbean shrimp quesadilla, a jerk chicken eggroll, and a strawberry lemonade.

The quesadilla was good. The shrimp was cooked nice but there wasn't a lot of volume to this quesadilla. Just cheese and shrimp, not a whole lot of flavor for me. All quesadillas are served with chips and queso, big bonus for me! Then the eggroll, these things are MASSIVE! An eggroll stuffed with Cabbage and jerk chicken, wooo these things packed some heat but they were delicious. I split the eggroll with a friend of mine who couldn't stop raving about the jerk chicken quesadilla and the eggroll.

I first heard of this place at an event and they were one of the food trucks there so we decided to try one of their meals. We got the spicy jerk chicken bowl I believe it was called and it was so good me and my husband were like we need to try them again and that’s when they informed us that they were opening up a restaurant here in town soon. So yesterday I ordered from them I called in my order and the lady on the phone was really nice & She was very thorough with making sure I had everything right on my order and told me how long it would be. My order was ready within 10 minutes or less and I went to pick it up and we ate it later on that night and everything was so delicious. It is very filling.
