Update: after their response, I’m changing my down to a one. I will never be back to this place.
PLEASE READ MY REVIEW & THEIR RESPONSE IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT HOW THEY’RE CLEANING AMONGST OTHER THINGS.
Be prepared to bring earphones unless you want to hear gospel music the entire time. I am all for Jesus, but I do not think repetitive gospel music is the choice. There are fantastic gospel artists out there to support, but playing music with only repetitive chants about Jesus is annoying no matter your faith.
Cheese crepes were flavorless & croissants were stale. Don’t let the photos fool you the way they did me. Spend your money elsewhere.
I had to teach the girls at the register how to make my drink…2 shots of espresso over ice with a splash of oat milk. I was asked to explain it several times, which makes me think they are brand new baristas. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s espresso over ice…I am not sure how to be clearer. I do appreciate them wanting to make sure drink was made correctly. They were very friendly about it. This is not a hard drink. This is an iced latte with less milk. If you cannot make that, then you shouldn’t own or work in a coffee shop….even if you’ve only been open for a week or 2 you should be able to pour espresso. This is not specific requested drink, this is the bare minimum of being a barista & owning a coffee shop. Pull espresso shots & serve them hot or iced.
Below is my original paragraph about CLEANING, which they have since responded to by saying, they were just using a Windex bottle filled with blue solution. LOL. That is the most obvious lie I’ve ever heard. I really hope a business that is playing religious music wouldn’t lie to me. Proverbs 12:22: "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.” Anyways, even if what you’re saying is true, your business is near plenty of businesses where you can buy a spray bottle + we live in the time of…online shopping. Plus you should have a sanitizer bucket as well. TO ANYONE READING THIS WHO DOESN’T WORK IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY…this is standard practice. Businesses DO NOT use old windex bottles to clean.
They are also cleaning tables with Windex…this is not an appropriate disinfectant for surfaces that come in contact with food, it is also harmful if ingested…so spraying surfaces while guests have open food at nearby tables is a very odd choice. A food safe sanitizer is typically what restaurants use on surfaces that come in contact with food. I really REALLY hope they are not cleaning their food display case with Windex. Most health departments do NOT allow restaurants to clean surfaces with Windex for it is not an effective cleaner for bacteria.
All in all, please consider supporting another business.
Saw their signage littering an entirely different plaza....
Read moreBUSY, BUSY, BUSY store. CLEAN. Friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful staff. FRESH cheeses, meats, and other products. There is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE here even if you are not into European foods, they sell cookies, pastries, to go along with coffee, and you can find common items like selection of ketchups and pastas, teas, and canned pickles. You cannot go wrong with drinks as well, my favorite is “Yellow Keg” Kvas.
Separated by a wall from the grocery store is the cafe. It is a good place to go with your friends or significant other. Cafe has a calm vibe with dim lights and luxurious feel. Great selection of sweets, and if you would like something else you can purchase from the store.
Their coffee and lattes have great taste to them, yes better than Starbucks. As they explained, with Starbucks in order to have a consistent taste across the world, Starbucks overroasts their beans. Here they purchase beans from a local supplier that are roasted just right, with a great taste (which you can purchase from them as well.) Same goes for Matcha, last time I got a Matcha from Starbucks I had to order a different drink to get rid of the aftertaste, in Euro Delights Cafe Matcha has a very mellow and delicious taste to it. There is absolutely no reason for anything but a 5 star rating for the...
