We went to the location in person 6 months ago and in person, the food was decent but not amazing. We did have to ask them to change the TV channel as they had a very violent movie (Rated R) playing in the main restaurant, as we had smaller kids, but food ordering directly in person was okay, but not spicy even when specifically requested. We tried them again this weekend to order dinner for our family. We were very disappointed in the communication with the restaurant for a carry-out order, and also the quality of the food provided. We spent $117.59 for the following items: Seafood Ramen that was tough seafood pieces and very bland even though we asked for Level 3 Spicy, Lobster Tail Tempura Rolls which I have better quality with Kroger Sushi station, Soups (Hot and Sour and Egg Drop were good), Jalapeno Peppers which were not spicy and all cream cheese, the worst Crab Rangoon which was bland and all cream cheese, and my husband and I got the General Tso and Orange Chicken. We did a taste test of the chicken of the General Tso and Orange Chicken and could not tell which was which, as both were fried the same. We asked for both of those to be Level 3/5 and were no spice/mild when given. I even called the number after ordering as I wanted to make sure we got spicy levels and to ask if they had homemade hot mustard, and was greeted with a 3rd party call center that said they could not assist, and only when asked to be transferred to the restaurant, I got a live person in the restaurant. We were then told they are shorthanded and that's why all pickup orders and phone calls are directed to a third-party service. No homemade hot mustard was available, which was fine, but no adjustments to the spice level were made even after talking with them directly. We were very underwhelmed by the quality of the food, especially for the high price of each item. Unfortunately, I would order fast food Asian food over this place again. I will never...
Read moreWarm, friendly service was the highlight of our stop in. We came for a late lunch on a Sunday and were the only ones on the restaurant for most of the time. Still our food came slow. The booth seats are uncomfortable like a bad mattress. Sadly most of our food was disappointing, almost not worth eating. The spicy salmon roll was off, looking like the fish was whipped in a processor and there was something dry and crunchy in it that maybe missed being incorporated. The chicken ramen was rather tasteless, no unami or depth of flavor that you expect from traditional ramen. The only dish worth eating was the honey chicken which really was sweet and sour chicken, and I mean exactly the same thing, pink sauce and all. But the chicken was fried to perfection and the veggies were blanched on point. That would be the only reason I'd ever consider ordering food here in the future. Bottom line, this restaurant should narrow it's menu to do something well instead of offering all the favorites and executing most of...
Read moreMy wife and I were in the shopping center and saw Asian Yummy from a distance and decided to give it a try for lunch. We are so glad we did. The atmosphere was warm; we had the whole place to ourselves. 80's music and videos were playing on the big TV, made the moment fun for my wife and me. Our server was so kind and pleasant, genuine. We ordered the hibachi chicken with white rice and a cup of egg drop soup, both fresh and delicious. we then ordered two sushi rolls, which also were cold and fresh. I was very pleased by two homemade condiments, the Wasabi and the Asian red chili flake paste, which was on the table. The wasabi was flavorful and so much milder than the garden variety. I enjoyed it like I never have before. The Chili Flake paste was also full of flavor. I mixed this within the white rice., yummy! The ladies were so kind, they sent me home with three small containers of this paste. Needless to say, we have found a new sushi dinner. A...
