DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS STORE!
My family bought some gift cards from this Kohl's location for Christmas gifts and they were given gift cards that had already been used 3 states away and almost a year ago. Despite having the receipts and showing Kohl's they did indeed give bad gift cards, they refuse to do anything. The gift card company shows Kohl's has never given them the money for the cards that were supposed to be issued, and this sounds like a cashier stealing gift cards scam in my opinion.
The company that the cards were issued to is investigating the matter now, but they have admitted this won't be resolved any time soon, so avoid buying gift cards here until Kohl's does their job and looks into their cashier. I just don't see any other way that gift cards used clear out in Colorado could have made their way into a Kokomo, Indiana store and no issue was raised by the cashier when they pretended to scan and activate these cards. If it turns out that I am wrong I will remove this review, but I have seen this before at another big store where a cashier was doing a very similar scam for far too long before the store looked into...

I was shopping at the Kokomo location this morning, as I often do. I usually have nothing but wonderful experiences with your staff. A lady answered several questions for me the last time I was in and was overly helpful. Unfortunately, this morning will be the last time I come to your location. I am a plus sized woman and have always considered Kohls an invaluable resource when other shops let me down. This morning I heard one of your employees, a bald man, referring to clothing in my size as âtentsâ. I was appalled. I had thought that type of bullying and abuse was left for high school hallways, not someoneâs place of work. I donât want any free coupons, however I do feel this should be addressed so others who may wander into this location donât encounter the same. I consider Kohlâs to have a reputation of inclusion based on its âsomething for everyoneâ inventory. The days of tolerating fat-phobic bigots has gone and I would expect your company to have progressed beyond this. I will be buying my clothes, and tents, elsewhere...
Read moreA couple days ago I was greeted by a very friendly older gentleman named Tony at the checkout. He did his normal customer service routine, but then he started talking about how shirts and other clothes were made back in the day. To some this doesnât mean much, but to me I had never known about how clothes were made and when polyester was first widely used and I learned something new that day. Tony could have simply rung me up and said have a good day and I would be gone. He didnât though and this is what makes him great. He took time out of his day to interact more personally with me and many customers he sees on a daily basis, because this isnât the first time Iâve seen him do this. In my opinion this makes him unique in the otherwise mundane interactions you could get from other store personnel. Heâs proud of what he does and how he interacts with the customers and personally he made my day. Other Kohlâs stores have workers, but the Kokomo,IN Kohlâs has Tony. Keep doing a great job man and I hope...
