This review is strictly about the store management.

My daughter worked here for a few days. Her training consisted of being placed in a back room to watch corporate training videos for three days. No one ever came to check on her, or to ask her if she had any questions. She was then given an hour or so of training on a cash register then was completely thrown to the wolves. She definitely was not ready, and made that known to the managers. They did nothing about it except to give her a radio and told her to use it to call if she needed help, and then left her to fend for herself. Some nice fellow employees attempted to help her as best they could.

The general manager had no problems making it known that she hated her job as she voiced that several times in front of my daughter and several other employees. The same manager was more concerned about how many extended warranties my daughter sold, and how many customers she signed up for the rewards program over helping her learn the job and succeed at helping customers.

I went into Staples in Kokomo to buy an ink cartridge and needed some help to ensure that I was buying the right one. I had to find an employee and when I did, three employees were standing around talking. I asked if someone could help me. One left the group to help me , but acted very inconvenienced at my request.
