TLDR: Poorly made mexican food, gave us stomach aches, not worth the price.
I came here a few weeks ago with my gf we were both in the mood for some mexican food and found this place and decided to stop by. First, the place is tiny which i gives it a quirky feel to it but its definitely not a place for a big group of five. I ordered a steak burrito and my gf ordered a chicken quesadilla, so starting with the burrito it comes in looking like a standard size burrito but for $10 i was hoping for something a little bigger. The burrito is also luke warm and just looks dull, i push on regardless, the very first bite all i get it lettuce so i start to wonder if the person misunderstood my order and accidently gave me a veggie burrito instead. So i open it up and its 50% percent veggies 40% rice and beans and probably like 6 piece of steak, which was not was i was expecting at all, that is definitely not what a burrito should be. So im a little upset and this point and to be honest my stomach started to hurt i dont know why but i hold it in and dont say a word to my gf thinking its just in my head. A few mins later she also has a stomach ache, so now im thinking its the food. So i look at her quesadilla and right away its a strange looking quesadilla stuffed with un-melted cheese which had a kurdish texture to it and its stuffed with onions (WHAT) who does that. The chicken is mediocre at best as well. So we leave, with our stomachs hurting and upset that we spent money going here. Overall would not recommend it to anyone looking for real...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible. The food is not bad but the service was so incredibly bad. I ordered a steak burrito with just beans meat and rice and I got the burrito and it had everything in it. I went back to the cashier and told him that I asked for just the meat beans and rice and he told me I was lying. He said he could tell that I was lying and told me I shouldn’t lie. He reluctantly agreed to remake it even though I heard him telling the cooks that I was just lying and that he was right. So after a few minutes they gave me a new burrito but I still had my old one that had a bite out of it so they gave it to me and I started walking away with both burritos when I got to the end of the street they started yelling at me about not throwing away the other burrito which I intended to give to a homeless guy. They made me walk all the way back to throw away the old burrito. I understand if you miss a person’s order and don’t believe you did but you shouldn’t tell your customers that they are liars. I’m sorry but this place is horrible and was an absolute awful experience because how rude the cashier was. I wish I could give this...
Read moreI have frequented this place in the past and have generally had positive experiences. However, I feel compelled to share a concerning incident that occurred following my most recent visit. Yesterday, I purchased a shrimp burrito and a box of drinking water, which were the only items I consumed that day. Regrettably, starting early the next morning, I experienced severe symptoms consistent with food poisoning, including fever, chills, vomiting, nausea, etc.
I am deeply disappointed by this incident, especially given my prior positive impressions of the restaurant. While I cannot definitively determine the cause of my illness, the timing suggests a strong possible link to the meal I consumed.
I strongly urge the management to conduct a thorough inspection of their food handling and preparation processes to ensure the safety and well-being of their customers. It is crucial for a reputable establishment to maintain the highest standards of food safety to prevent such unfortunate situations...
