1/25/25 9:10am I wasn't going to say anything but I just can't let it go: I'm honestly shocked by my experience in Kohl's today. I came to return some Amazon packages as well as doing so much needed shopping for a BUNCH of random things, but considering my experience I didn't want to spend much of anything at this Kohl's. Firstly I went inside to ask if I could bring a cart out since I had a large return, white lady with short frizzy hair told me I might not be able to return it at Kohl's even though I once had a QR code for it (that changed recently). Another woman needed assistance and I said it might take me a minute because I can't find the Kohl's return option. She went on to tell me about how to make a Kohl's return and I just made the comment that I make Amazon returns all the time, not being rude just simply saying basically I get it, please don't waste your breath is all. She basically scoffed and said all right whatever then I'm going to go help this lady over here and walked off. Amazon called me and informed me that I didn't have to deal with Kohl's so that solved that problem, but I still had a couple things to return. Went out to my vehicle came back with them, walked by and overheard the white lady talking crap about me like I'm deaf (or like she just doesn't give a sht). Headed towards returns but something caught my eye, grabbed a couple things off the rack then headed to Amazon return desk. Didn't see anyone and I figured it was because I had stopped somewhere for a couple minutes. I didn't mind waiting! They had just opened I figured they had things to do! I'm a very patient person! So I stand there for a minute and a tall man moseys on up and asks if he can help me. I simply and kindly said "Just returning some Amazon packages!" He responded to me like a teenager who hates their job. "WELL I was WAITING here and no one came so I went and did other things we can't just have someone standing here all day." I said Excuse me? I couldn't even believe his attitude. Steven. And come to find out I believe he's the manager??! What manager speaks to a customer that way? I ONLY GAVE THEM ONE TO TELL YOU OF MY EXPERIENCE with my BFF of 50+ years, we were browsing, both in separate directions, her thing is clothes, me shoes, I found two pair, couldn't decide so I put a different one on each foot and went to purchase a carpet cleaner, if you've been in there, you know all their small cheap buggies will hold is about one vacuum cleaner, so I emptied or was in the process of restructuring my items to fit when an employee comes up and tells me to take off the shoes, I explained that I was trying to make a decision and she said that she couldn't sell them after I had worn them. I took them off put my own back on and wish I hadn't but I purchased them both, and the vacuum. NOT DOES THAT END MY STORY. I had picked up some clearance items, when I unloaded my buggy to get the vac in, of course my purse would have been on top so naturally unloading it was on bottom so there were still item to put back in the buggy, i haven't even finished getting my shoes on and she's asking about the items "IN" my purse. I said you must mean these "ON" top of my purse and I went on to say they're not going to fit, she tried to show me but ended up having to help me carry them anyway. You know I still didn't get what was happening,I went to pay and some of my items weren't there and had to ask for them, BUT the eye opener was when she checked the tape on top of the vac box trying to make it look accidental, but I saw it and I opened the whole top and said check it, her demeaning response was that she already did that, my BFF saw her circle me in the check out line so i couldn't see her looking all up in my purse which I had completely open so you could see EVERYthing in it, And after all that I spent close to $400.00 that day at a terribly empty and dirty store. The check out clerk was nice to me, thank you. Even after all that, the other lady's attitude never changed, just rude and bitter. My BFF left her suede jacket somewhere in the store but she didn't even realize it while trying to figure out why they were treating me like that... is it theft on their part if they won't return her property? I will be back shopping get more to pay What I needed the most Is the best name brand And the quality what you get and the last long time that's what I was looking for and I got it at Kohl's I never shop at Kohl's for years but I found something for 2020 and I got it and I will enjoy for years to come Cold it's not bad to shop but I enjoyed myself yesterday I'll Walk and Walk and Walk until I went to Kohl's and I found what I was looking for and the reason for price and I got it I hope never close down the clothes is a good store.
