If I could do a no star I would! I purchased two linked men's bracelets from the Kay's outlet store in the Dells in December 2017. I was told at that time that after I give them to my husband for Christmas and the other for his 50th birthday that I could bring them in to have them take out any links if they were too big. My husband took them back the other day only to have one of the ladies take them and see if they could take links out. In the meantime she took a personal phone call, the bracelets laid in front of her the whole time she was on her personal call. After about 20 minutes of him standing there waiting she got off the phone and came over and said okay now back to your bracelets, sorry we would have to send these out to have links removed and it would take 2 weeks. Are you kidding me!! Needless to say he took them to a local jeweler and he did them for him right away and only charged him $10 total!! Bam! Done in under 15 minutes! I will NEVER shop at Kay's again. When a personal phone call is more important than a customer who spent a good amount of money in your store comes in second that is unacceptable to me! I will not recommend Kay's to anyone and I will let them know they don't care about their customers!! ...
Read moreNot happy with Kay’s. Cliff notes: Purchased watch Paid $132 to have the band replaced. Took six months to fix after calling three times to make sure the order wasn’t lost. Received a band color different than originally purchased. Band broke after 3 weeks. Brought watch back in and asked for the original band color. It was confirmed that the band was not the same as the original. Waited a month, called to make sure the order wasn’t lost; the reasoning for the wait was that they were waiting on parts. Received a call three weeks after the predicted fix date saying that the watch was ready and fixed. I inquired as to whether or not the band color was the original, I was told I’d be called back. Twenty minutes later I receive a call from a superior explaining that the band color has always been the same and that it was lighter in color due to normal wear (this is the same woman that confirmed the colors were different when I brought it in to be fixed).
Very displeased with the waiting time, management, initiative, customer service and misdirection.

I bought 5 rings n a branclet from them all but one item have been worked on and repaired ive lost 5 diamonds in my engagement band, two days after getting my moms opal a blue topaz along side it fell out upon bringing it back beacuse it wasnt a week yes they exchanged it for a brand new ring. But they then let me know the warrenty i bough only covers the metal because opals are so soft they wont warranty them and they dont warranty topaz either. So why did i buy a warrany for the metal thats awesome. The same day i got her opal i bought an emerald got it sized up one size 1 week after i got it back i snapped the band where they sized it up.
