We found the overall experience to be entertaining and a wonderful bonding experience for our family. My kids enjoyed the game a lot but I found the price of admission a little too high at $29.95 plus tax. We were a family of seven and it seemed a lot to pay. The activity only lasts 60 minutes and you must pay again if you wish to start a new room. I felt there were better values to enjoy in the dells for the price paid such as a water park or go cart racing.
We didn’t have an advance reservation so we had to choose a moderately difficult game because it was the only option available. Hazer was a great game master and very friendly. He explained the game and offered assistance throughout.
The game seemed a bit boring at first because we couldn’t figure out the first puzzle until we received multiple clues. You will need many clues to complete your tasks and you will not know what the specific tasks are without them.
However, my entire family really got into it as progress was made. I would definitely recommend a reservation if you have younger children so that you can secure an easy room. The difficult games are almost impossible to solve without multiple people working together to figure out each puzzle.
At the end, we were able to solve the majority of the puzzles using clues we received from the game-master but ran out of time. We would have appreciated if the clues came more proactively instead of us having to request them as a group and would have liked more time. FYI: In order to receive a clue, every player in the room must agree to it whether or not they are in your party.
I observed others be rewarded with rubber friendship bracelets for completing their missions in the allotted time but unfortunately we were not since we failed our's. Game master Hazer did take a free family photo of us holding funny signs with laughable quotes and immediately emailed it to us.
I would recommend going with older children and/or in large groups if you’re going to try a difficult puzzle otherwise make a reservation for an easy puzzle if you have...

Myself and my partner do escape rooms on vacation whenever we go to a new city, and we have completed about 50+ of them. We have seen a large variety of themes, puzzles, and difficulties. So I make this review using my fairly substantial escape room experience. With that said, this is spoiler free:
When you enter the room, you can see quite a few larger well themed set pieces, but most of the space is quite sparse. As we stated playing, it was obvious what we should start working on first. The room has a nice balance of pieces that were easily findable, and a few you had to work to discover.
Puzzles: we found that quite a few of the puzzles were too easy and we solved them in under a minute, and a few that were pretty difficult and took us at least 5-10 minutes each. I would have enjoyed a few more medium challenging puzzles. There were also 2 puzzles that required you to listen to a recording to get clues. I personally do not like that kind of puzzle, and I would rather be able to read the clues then have to listen to them, but that's a personal preference.
Maintenance: some of the puzzles/props need maintenance. The lights are broken on the main stand. The coat hanger has missing sticks and there are sharp screws sticking out. The coat has rips in it. Fixing these would help bring the experience of...
Read moreWe have done quite a few escape rooms and this was by far the most disappointing one for us. We loved the exterior of the building and thought the interior was done well and clean. We arrived about 15 minutes early and had to wait several minutes before someone greeted us. The escape room was less to be desired. The clues were very disconnected and we went almost 25 minutes in before cracking the first one. After that we couldn't figure out the next one. We had to ask for several clues which at times were still not helpful. At times we would ask for a clue from our game master Gabby and would either wait a few minutes before one was granted or we would have to ask several times before she gave us one as we watched the minutes tick by. We also had it where it appeared that Gabby would have to manually release something after we completed a clue and we would have to repeat the same thing before she did. For example we had switched to flip and my husband undid a switch and redid it after several minutes passed and another clue was released. We did nothing different. A few of the clues were audio and the speaker goes so fast that you have to listen several times. On top of that most of the time you would have no idea on what you were trying to listen to because you were missing a clue that was supposed to come from it. Several minutes are wasted because of this. A transcript is really needed for the audio clues. The end was not great. We pushed a button and then the clock stopped. In other rooms usually a light turns green around the door. There were no lucks or keys to be found. There was 1 number key pad and that's it. You do get a prize at the end if you escape in time. Everything about this escape room experience was disappointing to say the least. Not worth the...
