Compared to the one in Madison, this one could use some matenance. We were on a room on the 4th floor and had to ask to change rooms, because it smelled very moldy. Like bread mold smell strong in the bathroom and by the window it smelled. The room on the second floor smelled fine, but the mattresses need replacement. We could hear people pretty loudly late at night on second floor. We asked for our room to be made up, because they were doing the rooms around purs when we were leaving. I don't think the man spoke any English, because whennwe came back hours later, they hadn't done it. They did every room around us though. Wen I asked nicely about them skipping our room, the lady manager was instantly defensive and said it could take until 3pm to get our room cleaned. She could use some customer service training, because it was overly abrasive and a weird thing to be defensive about in a... hotel. There seemed to be drama here with the employees that other guests were being sucked in to. The water fountain and filter for water bottles by the workout area smelled moldy. When we looked in the bottom of it, it was very gross. It has mold in the bottom and bacteria and/or more mold. Overall, as a Hilton Honors member for years, this may be my last stay.
Pros: It still has a good breakfast and common area is nice to hang out in, relax, play games, get work done, charge phones, as well as a nice area to sit down in the back. Rooms have nice desk space and are functional. Fairly clean and...
Read moreI had a wonderful stay at Tru by Hilton in Wisconsin Dells! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience great. I especially want to recognize Anyelina and Domenic—both were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Their attentiveness really stood out and made a lasting impression.
The property itself is spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and it showed in every corner of the hotel. What really made this place unique and fun was the variety of interactive spaces. From board games and shuffleboard in the lobby to cozy gathering areas, there was always something enjoyable to do on-site, which made the stay even more memorable.
Another huge plus: the hotel is perfectly located near all the major waterparks and attractions in Wisconsin Dells, making it super convenient whether you're traveling with family or friends.
Overall, it’s a clean, lively, and welcoming spot with outstanding service. I’d highly recommend Tru by Hilton Wisconsin Dells for anyone...
Read moreRecently stayed here on a Monday night as we were passing through. The hotel is very new and great. Nothing fancy but has everything you need for a fabulous price. The rooms were clean, the shower was great and included a shelf to put your foot to shave your legs which I appreciated! The beds were comfortable as well. The only thing missing in the room was a microwave but I didn’t need one. There was a fridge. I believe there is a microwave in the lobby but not for sure. ||I used the workout room which was small (2 treadmills, a bike, free weights) but included some nice accessories like a barre and exercise mats. You could definitely get a good workout in and the equipment was very new so in good shape. ||The staff were all incredibly friendly. The free breakfast was typical and on par with a Hampton Inn. It helped the hotel was barely full so it was nice and quiet. I’m sure the weekends are much busier. I would definitely stay here again and at another Tru. It’s a great value and has everything I needed without the...
