Updating this 5* review so I can add some feedback... This rating is for this location and, in particular, the team working here.
If I were rating Kay overall, I'd probably rate 3-4*. However, bear in mind this is a corporate chain NOT a small business where you're going to get personalized/family pieces or 1x1 work. I say this because ALL of the poor reviews that provide any sort of information are in relation to repairs. These are NOT handled by this store, rather they are handled by corporate. The only thing the end stores do in this regard is check out/check in the products on behalf of Kay and assist you in the process. The end stores and the workers within are not responsible for what happens on the corporate end. While it's frustrating when repairs/resizing are not done right, take it up with corporate and/or let the workers in-store know that you're not satisfied with it so they can send along appropriate feedback and send the product back again as needed. I'm sure you paid enough for it, so have the patience to appreciate going through the process of caring for it.
Now, back to this store... I've yet to have a poor experience with any of the people here. I've been to other Kay stores where I've had a rather poor experience, in various ways. Here, they are always sure to welcome you even if they're busy, they always offer to clean/inspect Kay pieces, and they're happy to show you any pieces even if you're not planning to purchase on the spot. I've never had financing offers crammed down my throat, nor have I had sales aggressively pushed at me, which both help keep this my favorite Kay store. I'm not kidding when I say that I literally avoided going to Kay in another state just so I could wait and go to this one when I came up to WI.

Read moreSo I bumped up the 4 to 5 because of my visit today, I went in to do an exchange and purchase. Ring for earrings and it was just a great transaction. New Mgr and staff was awesome and really helped me in many ways. I was able to get out with just 1 call and 1 picture with there help. Ray the Mgr was attentive and encouraging when it came to pick out the earrings and made the exchange painless. I made out with 600 Kay Rewards and those are going to come in really nice this month for 1 birthday and a baptism gift. Thanks Ray and staff, see ya soon.
The CSRs were patient and over 4 calls and multiple pictures , we were able to pick out the absolute best one. Only thing I was disappointed with was they didn't have any special , Mother's Day or plain wrapping options for both the necklace & very expensive ring. Read moreMy experience with this location has been less than preferable to say the least.... Yes the staff was friendly, but apparently incompetent and or extremely unorganized! I took my wedding rings in to be fixed, and felt like i was treated like a criminal before they even explained how and when they would fix them. On Monday it will be 1 month and so far i have been given 3 different return dates and i still do not have my rings or ETA. Everytime i call i am given a different story/"reason" as to why they have not been returned and a different pickup date. I would also like to mention that they have never once reached out to give me an update or estimated time of arrival. I have had to reach out to them everytime. I am very unsatisfied with the service, and feel like a business of this size should be more on top of things, and in tune with keeping their customers...
