I'm a visitor from California on my way back to the airport when my brother, sister, and I decided to stop at Taco Bell and get food. We went through the drive through, when we got to the window and paid $20.85 for our food, the cashier handed us things we did not order. When we confronted her about our order, she called in the manager and the manager told me to pay an additional fee of $3.27 (we did) and still our order was shorted plus the wrong meal was given again. I was so upset that we just said forget it and just drove off with the wrong over-charged food.
I called and spoke with a female manager there at the Lake Geneva location, she told me that there is nothing she can do and the next time I fly back out there to stop by and get the correct order. WHAT THE, I was shocked!!!!!!!!!!
I called the corporate office which tried to help me, they tried to make good on the mistake by sending me 2 x $5.00 coupons and a $22.00 check. I felt a little relieved that there is kindness left and it is not a man eat man world. I took the check and deposited in my bank account, 1 week later my bank sends a letter that the check came back as a bad check and my bank charged me $12.50 for a bad check fee.
DO NOT EVER EAT THAT THE LAKE GENEVA LOCATION, THEY ARE HEARTLESS AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM SO STRESSED OUT THAT I AM NOW SHORT AND ADD'T $12.50 IN MY BANK ACCOUNT BECAUSE THEY FEEL THAT THEY CAN LAUGH IN OUR FACE AND GIVE US A...
Read moreI really wish I could say I had a good experience but it was far from it and I wish I could contact corporate because what happened yesterday was unacceptable. We went through the drive through and had one mobile order and an order for a coworker. We we're going to go inside but the DOORS WERE LOCKED WITH NO SIGN AS TO WHY and no one would even look at us. So we sit for 20 minutes in the drive through, we ask for sauces on the mobile order,, at the speaker and we had asked for sauce at the window. They almost forgot my quesadilla and they forgot sauces we asked for. We parked up front and called to ask if someone could quickly run out to bring us just the sauce packets but instead I was told to drive back through the drive through to wait another 20 minutes for sauce packets! Yes I understand that you old had 3 available employees but that is no excuse. There was no reason so hang up the phone and take it off the line so no phone calls could be made at all!!! I worked my @$$ off with just me and the manager while having drive through and dine in open during lunch rush on multiple occasions. Theres no excuse for poor workmanship. I really hope you learn you to get your act together and work with what you got. And maybe put up a sign if your going to rudely refuse...
Read moreThe old menu will always be the best menu Taco Bell could ever feature. The new products are sub-par & scream menu crossover constantly on rice & "crispy" things & cheese & leftovers being used. They couldn't get a simple bean burrito correct. Things happen from time to time, but taking away the original menu doomed you to the demographic that now has the most money to spend. Late 70's & 80's babies are your best customer & we all struggle with spending money there now. When we were poor working kids when The Bell was at it's best, we wouldn't bat an eye at handing over our tiny paychecks weekly. Whoever is in charge of the menu decisions needs to do some research. The new menu is junk with junk ingredients. Crunchy chips & nacho cheese doesn't do it. Mexi-melt, 7-layer burrito, double decker, etc.. the same ingredients are in house so just do it! Thumbs up on bringing back the pizza. That was a royal screw up depriving us of that righteous product. I still hit the drive through & once every few years go inside, but 90% less likely to do either after the new changes. I can't be...
