Deb the the store manager was very rude and her manager. I had went in for a price match, the cashier took info and walked to the end of the cash wrap, my fiance pointed out a couple minutes later they where arguing. Then 2 target employees walk back the initial girl and an older lady. The younger lady said they couldn't price match. I asked why? The older lady cut her off and proceeds to tell me in the rudest tone that they can't find it online so they cant. I wasn't going to be spoke to like that so I say ok are you a manager. She says yes. I say ok I want to speak with your boss. At this point the problem wasn't the price match it was how I was being treated trying to just simply ask why I couldn't price match.. [previous store manager of 5 yrs] the manager chuckled and said ok she will say the same thing walked of 1 minute later. When Deb walked up i say I have no problem with your younger associate she's very polite. The other lady your manager was rude and I would like her name to get for a corporate complaint. [The manager was not wearing a name badge ] deb said I can't give out associate names but you can have my name and tugged on her name badge [which is bull they ALL wear a namebadge..... and every store ive ever worked retail for required a namebadge] so i said please put that on a corporate card. She feeds receipt tape and hands me it with "deb" on it [receipt paper? Not even a card....]. I ask her for the corporate number. She didn't know it then when she got it quickly spoke it to me. I had to ask her to repeat it and she again quickly spoke the numbers. I hardly EVER shop at target. And I will say I will never go there again so long as those 2 lady's DEB or her manager work there worst customer service I've had on top of it being the day...
Read moreThis review is for registering there. We did our baby registry and it was awful. A registry should be somewhat fun as it is for an exciting event (whether it be wedding or baby) even though we dread it. We showed up and asked for a scanning gun. Out do the SIX they had there was ZERO functioning properly. Some had dead batteries, one refused to open the app, one didnt have the app, one jad a dim screen... They said they have tried to get someone to look at the port where they charge because there is an issue. They are just iPods, cant they temporarily charge them individually with a regular charger?? We were told we had to download the app and use the scanner on there. Slight inconvience at first but okay we will try it. After 10 minutes of it downloading/setting up the account we begin registering...
The app SUCKS. It is useless!!! It is difficult to scan and Target actually will get less business off our registry due to the frustration/inability to scan items. Between having to try for a few minutes for the scanning to actually work, or it saying cant find item we were over it. We ended up passing on items we liked, and walking away from registering clothing items because it was frustrating and nothing was working. We did not walk away feeling happy and relieved of the easy process. We walked away angry and frustrated and disappointed. It also wasted data we have to pay for, and our phones batteries. We did download it on my husbands phone to make sure it wasnt my camera or phone that was having the issue, and it didn't work any better on his phone.
If you plan to do a registry i would either call beforehand and check that the scanners are working or just go to a new location all together. Was NOT worth the...
Read moreSo its 9:30 In the morning and you only have one checker open. I think it's really just respectful to your customers to make us wait a long time. I see multiple employees just walking around not doing any specific task. And they could be hopping on a lane and pushing us through. Then when somebody did open a backup lane they took people who'd been waiting less than the people who've been waiting a longer time. I think this is why your foot traffic and your stock is down. Can you please work on this? There's no reason for us to have to wait in line when you have employees who aren't being productive. There have been multiple times where I've seen managers walking around talking to each other and seeing how busy it is at the front lines and doing absolutely nothing to help relieve it the overflow. What kind of impression do you think that leaves with your customers? We noticed these things. We are not the priority to you. And we should be.
Update shopping the next day here. You're out of an item in the kitchen area. So I go to the electronics department because that's the only place I can find help. Done when the female employee looks up the item she says this is a kitchen item. Aggressively like why am I bothering her with it. So then I have to explain that yes sometimes when I can't find an employee on the floor I have to go search for one. If she wasn't want to look it up in the back I'd be happy to go to guest service and find someone who will. Then she makes a comment about she might be able to get to it and goes in the back to find it. Why are you employing people with terrible customer service and don't...
