The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will give you expert consultation for gift ideas for your loved one's hobbies.

If you are a hobbyist or enthusiast then the staff are also experts who will work with you to get your collection to where it needs, even if the advice can go against them making a quick buck.

Their used games are in extremely good condition and the owners will work with you to ensure you're satisfied with your hardware. They even know how to restore and refurbish retro games in-house so they really know what they're doing, and what they are selling you. The owner has high attention to detail and is emaculate in his testing before making a used item for sale.

This store also houses many gems for hard to find toys, figurines, collectibles, and Japanese imports.

They are aggressively increasing their supply with buy-ins and trade-ins from the local community between Oregon and Washington.

Edit: Dec 2024 Still the absolute best game store in the area... I cannot recommend Stupid Geeks enough!! A kind and knowledgeable owner who really knows his customers (even if they haven't been back in awhile...) And his products. Very kind staff and such a wonderful vast selection!

I literally can't say enough positive things about this place. Atmosphere, content, and an owner who genuinely cares. Josh (owner) never hesitates to jump into full-blown conversation anytime it's welcomed. You're not just the 30th person to walk in that day; you're more like a friend visiting from day one. Prices are good for the market value of things (rare these days), and he is very transparent if you have any concerns. Trade percentages are absolutely fair (better when you go for store credit VS cash - and you'll definitely find something to bring home!) There are multiple sales where he went out of his way to acquire a game someone was looking for - once even from his own personal collection. My first time in I was there over an hour and had a hard time walking out. All in all, great owner, great shop. This store is a gem, I don't live close by but my boyfriend and I make occasional trips just to stop by since it opened. It's a place we will go out of the way to visit. They always have a huge variety of games and geek memorabilia and it's exciting to see what they get it and what's new each time. The staff is amazing! The owner, Josh really knows his stuff and hires people who do too. They are transparent about what they can buy from you and what they can offer, their reasoning is always sound and fair. It's a great place to browse and find something new for your collection or for gifts.
