Im never ordering from this store again!!! I placed a " scheduled order" for 6pm and when it was 6:30pm and my order was not there I decided to call and check, so then it begins... First I was put on hold for over 5 min so I just hang up and try again and again was put on hold this time for nearly 9 minutes. When I call the third time they answer and I explain what happened and she says they are behind and hangs up on my face. after that I kept trying and trying to call and they would not pick up the phone. I kept trying and when they finally answered again they put me on hold without even giving me the chance to say anything. Finally after several attempts of either being put on hold and have they just hang up the phone on me when it 7:00pm I was able to talk to the gal who had been putting me on hold and hanging up the phone and it turns out she was the manager (I asked for a manager so I could talk to and explain and she said she was the manager) She said they were got too many orders and despite the fact that I scheduled an order ahead of time they still could not guarantee it. She said they were picking up my order right then and I would get it in 15 to 20 min, well, 30 minutes passed and I didn't receive anything and this time when I called (again after several attempts) she then again said door dash had picked up my order and did not deliver and there was nothing she could do about it. Read moreI ordered my pizza through the website online at 7pm. I opted for a no-contact delivery so that I wouldn’t have to put myself and my family at risk by going into the store. After waiting 1.5 hours after placing my order, I checked the pizza tracker provided by the website which said my order had been delivered, but never came!
To find out happened with our order we called the Lake Stevens store to talk with the staff. The staff there said that they “outsource deliveries through DoorDash and have no way to track the order once it leaves the store” (which is bs!) and that they would need to fire a new order and try to deliver it again to our home. We made the decision to pick up the pizza instead so that we wouldn’t run into the same issue as before and wait another 1.5 hours to find out if it was actually going to be delivered.
Once I arrived at the store, the manager gave me my order and said he was sorry for having our list order. I didn’t complain and left the store. As I was about to leave, the manager came running out of the store with the pizzas in his hands and stated that he had the fresh ones and to give him back the other order he had just handed me. The other order I had been given was my original order, which means it never even left the store!! How could they never even deliver my pizza? Why did I put my family at risk driving all of the way to get the pizza when they obviously had delivery drivers that worked directly for them?? The lied about that and about loosing my order. First issue, an hour after making an order I get a call from DoorDash saying my order has been canceled. I asked why and they said I’d need to call Papa John’s as they didn’t have information.
So I called Papa John’s inquiring as to why it was canceled and was hung up on after I calmly asked my question as to why my order was canceled. I called back immediately hoping it was just a mistake and was left on hold for 22 minutes. All the while calling on my wife’s phone to try to get through to someone. I eventually got through and was told they thought the order was in error, so they canceled it. With out calling or verifying with me if that was the case or not because they were “too busy to call.” I told them that wasn’t the case, so they told me they’d make it right and have it delivered.
An hour and a half later I checked in with the people I ordered for and they STILL DIDNT HAVE THEIR FOOD. So I called the store and was told that no delivery drivers would come for the order so they would just refund me and then hung up on me. Again. For the 7th time in one night. You can’t make this stuff up! Eli should be ashamed and maybe consider a career change. Customer service is certainly not the right career choice for her.
