Sheffield Waveland Rooftops — Local services in Lake View Township

I had a good time watching the game(cubs won). It is a little bit of an obstructed view but better than other rooftop views I have been to. The reason this review is 3/5 instead of 5/5 is based upon the food and food service. They kept running out of all the cooked food.. The girl serving the food was so chintzy on the serving size portions she was giving out which upset me because of the amount of money we paid to be there!! She would give out barely any Italian beef at all!! An italian beef should have a decent amount of meat on it and not just be all bun with some beef scraps on.. Like C’Mon Man!!! I tried to get a burger, italian beef, and a sausage and they were all out of all of them. No one was monitoring the condiments and giardiniera either as those were all out too. They started putting away a lot the food away in the 6th inning too. I have been to a bunch of rooftops before and thought this one was the worst cooked food service I have ever had at a rooftop. The line was long to get the cooked food too. You would wait all this time in line; just to hear they ran out of what you wanted... There is only 1 place to get the food too. At least at other rooftops there is multiple locations to get food to alleviate having 1 long line. Getting beers and drinks was up to par which is why this review was not lower than...

We got in line for the bar in the bottom of the sixth and when the bar closed after the 7th we still hadn’t gotten drinks and they kicked us out of line. They were also incredibly curt and wouldn’t listen to any criticism. If you don’t have the staff to serve all the tickets you sell, sell less tickets. Also the view from this rooftop is totally garbage. The nosebleeds of the stadium hang over the field so you can’t see the batters and can only see the pitcher from certain angles. Save your time and money and go literally...

The crowd and bar management in the second half of the game was quite terrible. I got in line for a drink at the bottom of the 6th, because it was advertised that the bar closed at the bottom of the 7th. I got kicked out of the line on the 3rd floor, was forced to the 5th, and then was kicked out of the 5th floor bar line at the top of the 8th. Very poor service. There was also no note that all of the food ends during the 7th, and the view was okay for the outfield but terrible for the batter. Definitely would...
