Kohl's — Local services in Lakewood

I'm curious about the people saying this is such a clean store, as myself and everyone I know in the area who has been to this Kohls calls it the "ghetto Kohls" because most of the time when you go in, it's a mess in some area of the store. I have often looked past that, but what has happened one too many times is the customer service here is usually horrible. The common theme is just general rudeness or acting like you're asking for a kidney donation when you're asking where an item is. But they blew it out of the water today when it was insinuated I had stolen my husbands Kohls card, told I couldn't buy my 3 items (despite the fact I am on the account and listed to use the card...and of course, I stole a Kohls card to come buy 2 pillows and a tablecloth!) and after I left and called my husband, he called to talk to the manager and after telling him what had happened the manager straight up hung up on him. Niiiiice! So yeah....My advice, go on down to the one on Chatfield. Much MUCH better store and much better attitudes from...

Sadly, this Khols is really awful in their women's plus size clothing department. Everything is drab, dull, and looks cheap, cheap, cheap. I'm not sure who is buying for this particular area but they need to take a look at what their competition is offering to the size 14 and up woman and get on board. I used to love shopping at Kohls and now it just feels like there's no care or concern put into the products offered, how they're displayed, or how they're kept clean and organized. The last two times I've gone in I've walked out within the first five minutes. UPDATE: I just visited this location and was happy to see that they've cleaned up their act. While the styles of plus size clothing still aren't outstanding, they have started carrying a line of plus size activity wear that I ended up purchasing call Tek Gear and I love it. Great job, Kohls. First of all I'm a big fan of Kohl's in general!

That being said, recently I was faced with an issue ordering a product and was directed to go to the store by the 1-800 number costumer service people. When I managed to go to the store, the manager Sam was the sweetest person ever! she was soooo helpful and patient and awesome! Even though my problem wasn't completely solved she made sure to get my information to reach out to me in a near future about fixing my problem. If that's not stellar customer service I don't know what is. Not just great customer service but she actually cared about me and helping me a complete stranger when she could've just sent me away when she realized she couldn't fix my problem right then and then and honestly We need more people like Sam not just in the workforce but in the world in general.
