Lancaster Silverball — Local services in Lancaster

Attended a comedy show at the Lancaster Silverball facility within the Lancaster barnstormers Arena. We were welcomed at the front door and directed to the second floor, where the entertainment would be for the evening. They have a coat check area at a greeting desk as well as a concession area and the main room.

The main room consisted of dozens of pinball games, air hockey, skeeball and some retro video games. Several of the machines were turned off and not functioning for whatever reason several of the machines that were set the FreePlay would not free play and just maintain their initial start up screen. There was plenty of room for everybody to participate and folks took a lot of turns moving from machine to machine no problems whatsoever.

The tables for the comedy show were arranged lengthwise in the room, and even at full capacity it was still comfortable to be able to view the comedian. They have numerous table tops set up as well. If you’re gonna attend a public event here I suggest you get there right at door opening so you can hold your Seats. We arrived within 15 minutes of opening and all the table tops had already been reserved and there were only half the seats available because the other half had reserve signs on them for larger parties.

The line for the concession was extremely long, so make sure you get what you need at the very beginning of your event and not have to wait in a longer line as people show up .

My only complaint which draws this to a four star versus a five star is at the end of the show prior to leaving. The bathrooms were at capacity for the ladies and two of the toilets were out of order or not functioning. This caused a line and a back up for the facilities

Parking for the facilities is fantastic. They use the parking for the baseball stadium. The entrance is at the main entrance for the ballfield. There’s a neon sign underneath the stadium sign which shows where the facility is at.

Hosted my husband's surprise 40th birthday there and everything was absolutely perfect. Deirdre and her team went above and beyond for all details, including an elaborate "cover story" of a different event to get my husband there without raising suspicion. The little touches of a personalized photo slideshow on the TVs, ability to play a personalized playlist, and decorate the space really made it special. Food was great - I would describe it as "elevated bar food" and drinks were great too. Everyone was excited for all the pinball games (all are free) and several said they'd like to have their future events there. We recently got invited to a birthday party at the Silverball suite and had so much fun! Kids and adults throughout were having a great time playing the wide variety of games and enjoying the view of the field. The team served a wide buffet and had an open bar setup.
