Redeux Vintage — Local services in Lancaster

i first started following this spot on instagram before i moved to the area, I loathe having to travel out to the chain stores to try and find anything i like, buying online is such a risk and so i thought i'd scope this place out. Now i am also not a small woman, and i'm tall so usually i struggle with vintage and second hand items, not to mention i am not particulary wild in my tastes so i wasn't sure i'd find product here but no risk no reward huh. The interior is way bigger then expected as is the range! Jackets, sweaters, knits, designer products, handbags, modern jewellery, decor, shoes, gifts, art etc etc! It is phenomenal the range of options, the style tastes and the sizing. I have since purchased at least one item every time i pop in, which is often because of the awesome posts on Insta alerting me to the new stock in store. The nicest thing is the owner remembers me when i pass by and shows me things i might of missed knowing my tastes now which goes a long way when most stores barely note my entrance let alone have styling tips for me! Go in, support a small local business and make sure to check out the sale shelf of vintage tshirts, i loooove...

This store is very cute & it’s well organized but the pricing is too expensive. If the prices of a basic college tee was not $40, maybe I would consider buying it but the clothing is WAY overpriced. Their one singular employee working was attentive and kind of friendly but she was mostly on her phone, ignoring me. She did open up a dressing room & greet me… that’s about it. I would not recommend shopping vintage here if you are even slightly on a budget. What you could find at other vintage/antique places for 3-5 items is what you can find here for only 1 item. Depends on your style & pricing....

Redeux moved their locations relatively recently and I've had a chance to visit the new spot a few times. There is more new clothing here which I think is a nice addition, but what I love about Redeux is definitely the vintage items.

The owner sources really cool and unique vintage items. Over the years I've picked up some of my favorite pieces here. Majority of the time I've gone in over the years and the owner is there, they are kind, welcoming, and super helpful!
