Macy's — Local services in Laredo

Macys is my go-to store for perfumes, name brand perfumes. They are expensive but perfumes last for several months so they’re still good buys. Many times there is a sale on perfume sets, in store or online. Recently I have purchased online nice-smelling perfumes (small bottles) for as low as $10 for give-aways. I also buy my shoes and Guess purse here, especially when they are on sale.

There is an ongoing sale on fashion jewelries, shoes, a few purses and branded sunglasses In recent years, the children toys section carry brands such as Lego and Barbie. It has also a new clothing line called On 34th. Their Backstage on the 2nd floor is a shop for discounted items.

That review above was written some months ago. I have to add this review because of tonight’s fun joyful experience with Claudia, the store associate at the jewelry section. I went to Macy’s looking for a gift for a co-worker whose favorite store is Macy’s. Claudia asked me if I needed help… and all-out help she gave me. From giving me a heads-up on one brand’s jewelry tarnishing to holding my items as I looked around to helping me choose the gift to teaching me “No pase nada”. She was such a joy to interact with I could not help laughing despite the fact that I had a missing tooth cover. It is to her honor that I am making this edited review. Despite the tiredness she must have felt for being on her feet all day long, she still managed to exude a spirit full of joy and to serve with graciousness. Claudia, thanks a zillion for the happy moment...

We went shopping for my mom's formal dress,as we were going up to the 2ndfloor on the escalator I notice the coming down escalator was not working so I told my mom and sister the have elevators dont worry... ((mom suffers from knee swelling)) we weren't worried at all and we finished shopping my mom was tired and I told her let's go to the elevator at the end of the store when we get there there was a sign that said that the elevator was out of order 😱 I started worring about my mom so we walked half way to the store find a Young lady that works there and she told us to go.to the cashier and ask them to call a Manger so the could open the merchandise elevator and bring us down through there as she was telling us that I notice se other ppl worried about their mom too cuz they too had their mom wit a cane trying to go down to the first floor I asked them to come join us to wait for the cashier to finish up wit her customer and she would take us down to the 1st floor, the cashier is done wit her customer takes us to the end of the other side of the store and guides us to the back and on to the 1st floor...thank u to that very nice and generous cashier sorry I can't remember ur name... WOW I CANT BELIEVE WE HAD TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS TO GET DOWN TO THE FIRST FLOOR.. PLZ FIX UR ELVATORS OLDER PPL GO SHOPPING TOO!! Macy's at mall del...

Went in on 4/2/21 to specifically look for a new wallet or purse. I was undecided on what to get but the lady in the Purse section was extremely helpful and kind. After telling her about certain issues with me carrying everything she guided me and told me what she thought was best. I ended up buying a Micheal Kors purse and it was literally life changing because its small enough to carry around yet big enough to carry only what I need.

The lady that helped me was exceptional and let me explain why. My family and I went shopping as a last minute thing and I was not dressed well AT ALL. She treated me and my husband with the utmost respect and it really meant so much to me. THIS IS HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO TREAT PEOPLE! With respect and patience. I will be calling the Manager to let them know to give this lady a raise! You don't know how many times I've walked in places willing to spend money and then have to take my business somewhere else because I'm given dirty looks. I 100% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WILL DEFINITELY BE SHOPPING...
