At this Starbucks, you can't get water, but you sure get an attitude, and it's for free!
Apparently, stepping out of this Starbucks for a moment immediately takes away your right to ask for water. I ordered a coffee for myself and a water for my friend, just like I do at any other location. We walked around the mall for a bit (because, you know, this Starbucks is inside a mall), then came back, only to be informed of their brand new, mysterious, and written absolutely nowhere rule that forbids water refills or water at all once you’ve dared to step outside the store
But the real problem was the barista next to what I guess is the manager rolling her eyes at me while the other explained this new rule. It’s honestly embarrassing and wildly unprofessional for a grown woman to act like a middle schooler while on the clock, thinking I wouldn't notice. If you have an attitude problem, keep it to yourself and at least pretend to act professionally. This must be her first job if she actually thought it was appropriate to behave like that in front of a customer, and shame on the manager for training staff not only to make coffee but also teaching how to act like 6th graders and get paid for it
The policy itself is ridiculous, but apparently not exclusive to this store, and even so, the bare minimum would be to inform customers, because last I checked, no one carries a crystal ball to divine Starbucks changing rules, and nobody expects to be treated this way because of a water and even worse since the rule is written...
Read moreMore times than not my order has been missing details or completely wrong. Half the time I ordered a mocha it was served iced when I ordered hot and then when they remade it they didn't make it right, missing extra shots or add ins etc. The rest of the time it's missing the extra shots or add ins. Attention to detail is severely lacking. This isn't just 3 or 4 times, it has been over a dozen in the course of 4 weeks. Unacceptable, I tried to withhold the review hoping they would be one off mistakes or they would correct themselves but...
Read moreI’ve never had such a disappointing experience at a Starbucks as I did at the Mall del Norte location. The manager here is absolutely unprofessional, rude, and clearly doesn’t care about customers or the staff. Instead of leading with respect and good service, they act arrogant and dismissive, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s shocking how someone with such poor people skills is in charge of this store. Starbucks is supposed to be about welcoming service, but this manager does the...
