Since I refused to be extorted, my family and I experienced the worst experience at Urban Air Largo on February 8, 2025. I bought tickets and signed waivers the day before, but when I arrived, I was told I required parental tickets, which shocked me because my children are old enough to utilize the equipment without my help. I instinctively sought management. After waiting 35 minutes for Lorenzo to meet me, I was upset. I described what was going on to another staffer a few minutes before Lorenzo arrived, and she apologized and put wristbands on my children. Instead of greeting me, Lorenzo gave me a blank look. I told him he needed to train staff on ticketing and policies, and he said this was a franchise corporation with whatever rules they wanted. I told him it made no sense for a spectator to pay for and sign a waiver for equipment I would never use. Lorenzo inquired about me cursing the employee who made the ticketing error who was crying in the rear. I said that I hadn’t cursed out anyone. I turned to another young lady who had been there since the beginning and inquired if I had cursed out the crying lady. She said no, which Lorenzo ignored. That lady was probably crying at her error and my apparent displeasure. We argued about the same thing until the tiny man told me to go, gave me the corporate phone number, and I departed, blaming him for wasting my time. I did have a few curse words for Lorenzo. I advise against buying tickets online since they play games with refunds. Call the number and they tell you to contact the store while the store will tell you to call corporate. BEWARE OF THE GAMES! Read moreWe went on a Tuesday and they had only been open just over an hour. The restrooms were filthy, the trash cans in the women’s bathroom were overflowing on the floor, even the small ones in the stalls for feminine products. The trash cans by the tables were overflowing. We went up to buy drinks and there was trash all over the floor in the kitchen area. We normally get a pizza for kids but not here, would have been afraid to eat any food made here. No safety protocols followed, on the bumper ride, one employee climbed on without the harness on and when it spun upside down, he was flung out of it which if he’d landed on another rider could have seriously hurt someone. The 2 employees were laughing about it. Then the 2 employees hopped on the sides of it standing and hanging on while it spun in circles. Who would have stopped the ride in an emergency or again if they fell off onto someone? Then on the zipline, they let my granddaughter go off the beginning landing while the boy in front of her was stuck on the 2nd landing and my granddaughter crashed into him and then had to help him get to the end of the landing to take off. We paid for the platinum for my grandson and they only gave him a band for the deluxe and we had to show receipt to get on the platinum attractions. The location in Laurel is larger, cleaner, and safety protocols were followed every time we’ve been there. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to the location in Largo. Had me pay for something just to tell me my child was not eligible to do certain activities when I usually come and they know my face ! One manager told me it was okay , the other one said no !! And that’s fine and all but make that clear up front before I pay my money and you get my child hopes up . The staff was young all they do is flirt with each other and do nothing !! VERY LAZY!! Disrespectful !!! And they face say “I don’t want to be here” if you’re working with kids I don’t give a damn if you’re having a bad day . PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE .
