GameStop — Local services in Las Vegas

Honestly i don’t usually write such bad and long reviews, but this was just bothering me so much something had to be said. So on Saturday 7/21/18 i went down to gamestop I'm Henderson to look for a white PS4. Literally looked everywhere to buy my boyfriends white PS4 at all gamestop location, even called and asked if there was still white PS4 left, i was told by a guy name Bret over the phone that there was. Not knowing they stopped selling it due to it being limited addition. I was told from the eastern location in Henderson that this game stop had the last white PS4 in Nevada but it's refurbished. But yet i was also reassured from the Henderson location that it was in good working conditions. So at this point, i was desperate. Drove about 35-40 minutes down there to pick it up. I was super happy to have gotten the white PS4. I took it home and gave it to my boyfriend. We hooked it up, reorganized his room and everything. He was super happy! And i was too. I was getting ready to put in the NBA 2k18 game, the disc wouldn't go in. I pressed the eject button to see maybe a disc was in there already but nothing came out. Plus it was making this loud noise. Finally the disc goes in but it's still making that loud noise and nothing is being displayed. After 20 minutes of trying we gave up and decided to return it. There goes our mood. Went back to the Henderson location to find out that we have to make returns at the store where we bought it from. So there's that plus. We drove back down to this location, made the return and we over heard this guy whispering to the girl as she was checking us out, literally laughed and said "haha i told you this wasn't going to work and they'd want a refund" i mean is this how a business is being ran? Who says that right in front of the customer that isn't happy?! Couldn't even wait until we left the store and thought he was being quiet about it. No sir we've heard it all. I went to the location for a ps5 warranty change. I called BEFORE I got there and had the lady (i believe Raquel) look up the warranty BEFORE I got there and she told me everything looked good and to come in. I get there JUST FOR HER TO SAY SHE HAS BEEN TRYING TO CALL ME (which by the way was a lie). I told her I didn’t receive any calls! Then she continues to state that something in going on with their system and that it won’t probably work until Wednesday? Why? Idk. She continues to say that the other location on Nellis and Boulder HWY has been contacted and they have the system in stock and will be able to exchange it! I go to the other location just for the guy to tell me he don’t even have the system! Only the older model and that the system would be used or refurbished. I then called this location back and spoke to Sierra and she don’t know what’s going on smh. Sierra states she doesn’t know why I was told Wednesday but the warranty thing changed back in November 2023 which states you can only trade out for a refurbished or used system, not new. So I’m like why couldn’t the exchange be done? AGAIN NO ONE KNOWS NOTHING!!!!!! So while I’m talking to Sierra I hear her whispering to the other girl in the background saying idk what’s she talking about do you want to take the call. Then I ask her her name and again I hear her whispering “she wants your name do you want me to give it to her?” Like WTH. This is the worst experience I’ve had at this location. My husband and I went to buy a Christmas stuffer for our kids stocking we ended up buying 4 shirts as well so we are checked out drive away and they forget to add literally the only thing we came in for in the bag .. so I get a call from them saying they forgot they toy plushie which was cool but I was already 2 min from home so turned around I walk in I say you guys just called me regarding the toy and some guy was like what 😳.. like if I'm walking in asking for a toy for free or something ... finally the guy that rang us up btw realizes who I am what ever . I walk out .. later that night I go to get ready to wash my husband's new t shirts only to find out the freaking security thing is still attached to the shirts.. like seriously now I have to drive back again so they can remove the security thing off the shirts . Its incredibly ridiculous i have to drive back once again to the store to get this thing removed from the shirts.
