Would love to give a great review as our first experience working with Brenda/team were positive. However, for our second event (my mom's 60th Birthday party), they did NOT have our order at pickup. For this second event, we focused our centerpieces around Las Vegas Floral Wholesale and what they would provide. I placed an order and was assured I could pay in cash when I pick up the order to avoid credit card processing fee. I even had an invoice. Unfortunately, on the DAY of our event, after it took my sister almost 30 minutes to drive there, we were informed that they did NOT have our order at all. No calls in advance to let us know.
While they gave us a discount on the substitute (which the substitute cost more than our original order), it was our position that we should get at the very least half off our order -- which was actually an insignificant amount for LV Floral. But, on principle that they messed up our order, which the flowers were the centerpieces for a milestone birthday, we felt that we should really not have had to pay ANYTHING and that LV Floral had an opportunity to do everything it could to make their wrong right. However, Brenda and her team said they stood by their decision because my sister accepted the substitute. That is a very disingenuous response as we had NO choice to accept the order as we would not have had any time to find a substitute just only a few hours before my mother's event where we reserved that time for set up. I wanted to love them from the first event but cannot give kudos to a company that doesn't take accountability.
Also contrary to your response below, I don’t believe this is due to COVID. This relates to your unprofessionalism. You knew we needed this for our centerpieces. When you knew you couldn’t fulfill the order, you should have called us ASAP so we could search for an alternative instead of letting my sister drive 30 minutes to your shop to find out. You did not tell us until she got to your shop, the day of the event. So, it’s disingenuous to point to her actions in being forced to accept the order the day of the event after you FAILED to professionally call us in advance at any point about the issue. We decided to do the florals ourselves for our daughter’s wedding in Boulder City and contacted Linda at LV Floral Wholesale with the list of flowers that we needed. She promptly gave us a quote, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other sites that I had considered for ordering the flowers. We live out of town so I was a little nervous about where to get the flowers so that they would be fresh and beautiful with the wedding being in June.
