Review for the INDUSTRIAL event space // Candlelight: Coldplay & Imagine Dragons
Had a fantastic time watching the Las Vegas String Quartet perform here last night. This was a very intimate venue complete with hundreds of candles surrounding the stage and scattered amongst the aisles. The sound was exceptional, with not one bad seat in the house.
The venue was very easy to locate and parking was available adjacent to the building. All staff members were professional, welcoming, and extremely personable, helping guests locate their seats before showtime. And the restrooms were super clean and spacious.
Pretty excited to see another show here again! The space isn't so massive that the sound quality deteriorates the farther back you are from the stage. Venues like this are few and far between, where you still feel close to the musicians: you can make out their faces, see them bow & pluck (even spiccato!) their stringed instruments, and feel the energy they're putting into the performance. It definitely leaves you feeling like you were part of a special event (and not just some $400+ numbered ticket sitting in the nosebleeds having to watch a jumbotron for the whole show, lulz.)
Finally, (and this was probably a rule specific to this event, but,) I love that they asked that nobody take photos or videos until the last song of the night. It was so nice not having a cell phone screen blocking my view of the real life people playing their hearts out on stage lol. /oldfartrant
Anyhow, go see a show at...
Read moreI have hosted my annual conference of 650+ attendees at the INDUSTRIAL event space for three years in a row, and there is a reason why my team and I keep coming back to this venue. Our conference is a networking event bringing together some of the most inspiring Asian/Pacific Islander entrepreneurs and creatives from around the world, and the INDUSTRIAL has always been the most perfect spot for us to host it. The venue has such an intimate feel, but at the same time, provides ample space for us to set up activations, workshops, sponsor booths, and so much more.
In addition, the staff at the INDUSTRIAL has always been incredible to work with. They are extremely professional, and they truly just want the best outcome for you and your event. Personally, this conference has been one of the largest projects I've put together in my life, and I have trusted the team at the INDUSTRIAL to help me execute it each and every year.
There is one person in particular on the team who has been the key in helping us organize such a successful event, and that is Shelbi Watson, the Event Manager at the INDUSTRIAL event space. Throughout the entire process, Shelbi has been extremely patient, attentive, and knowledgable in her role. She made everything so easy for me and my team. I do believe that if it weren't for Shelbi, we wouldn't have been able to pull off such a remarkable event.
I'm grateful to the team at the INDUSTRIAL event space and would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host their dream event...
Read moreFounded in partnership with the Las Vegas Pizza Alliance, Novmber 4th marked Las Vegas’ third Pizza Festival, and with participants including Good Pie, Pizza Rock, Metro Pizza, Superfrico and others the event at The Industrial Event Space was a tremendous success both for vendors and those fortunate enough to attend.
Truly a showcase for local talent, and well-spaced across the outdoor venue downtown, it was shortly before noon that VIP guests gained entrance to taste more than twenty different Slices, each place showcasing their unique signature style, from classic Sicilian and Grandma to modern and even Gluten-free or Vegan.
More celebration than competition, Metro’s John Arena having long-fostered collaboration amongst would-be competitors, which Slice was “best” became moot almost immediately, though truth be told that honor would be a two-way tie between Signora Pizza Truck’s Fried Pie and Superfrico’s Detroit with Mortadella.
Only $75 for all-you-can eat Slices plus a take-home box, VIPs also offered a lounge with Music, more Food from James Trees’ Restaurants and plenty of cold adult Beverages for $50 extra, it seems impossible to imagine that any guest left hungry or disappointed…except perhaps for the fact that they’ll have to wait twelve months for the event to (hopefully) take...
