I really wish I could give this flower shop a better review, especially seeing how many happy customers there are and the beautiful flowers they received, but in all honesty, it has taken me almost a year to be able to write this after the experience I had with Miss Daisy.
Last year, for my wedding, I met with the Miss Daisy shop 3 months prior to the wedding date to see what they offered and after a brief consultation, decided I would love to have them provide my wedding flowers. I was asked to email them the specifics of what I would like to order and they would send me a contract and pricing. I was asked about colors, flowers, and to include inspiration pictures. I mentioned creams, peach, soft pinks, and deep reds and specifically named garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, dahlias, and protea flowers as I loved the intricate petals and dramatic details of the flowers. For my inspiration pictures, I pulled pictures from Miss Daisy's Instagram thinking that would ensure they knew exactly what I wanted and that they had made arrangements similar to what I was looking for. Miss Daisy responded with "We can definitely keep this in your budget and with your colors". Given the response, I had no reason to believe that Miss Daisy would not give me the kind of bouquet I was hoping for.
Unfortunately two days before my wedding, the picture I received of the bouquet they had made fell far below what I had expected. There were none of the flowers I had specifically mentioned, not even garden roses instead of standard roses, other some ranunculus which were hardly visible. There were no peachy colors, the pinks felt washed so much I almost forgot there was anything besides white (not even cream), and the deep red was from some dried filler included. I was in so much shock I didn't know how to respond followed by an immense amount of sadness. When my husband went to pick up the flowers the next day and he asked about the arrangement, and why it wasn't close to any of the inspiration pictures I had sent, he was told that the flowers I wanted were too expensive. Now I know I asked for some premium flowers and that comes at a cost, but there had been zero communication at the time of the order or any time before the arrangement was made that what I was looking for would come at a higher cost and asked if I would be okay with less expensive flowers or if we could work together to see if a higher budget would be in the cards. If I had had any prior communication, I would have gladly worked together with Miss Daisy to see what we could do, or at a minimum be able to manage my expectations, but I didn't have the chance to. Having a beautiful bouquet was one of my only desires and it was the one thing about my wedding I still feel sad and angry about.
What makes me most upset is that I just went to the grocery store this week and bought bundles of peonies, garden roses, and of ranunculus all for $30 retail. Premium flowers are expensive, but to get everything I would have wanted for $30, tells me that the cost was not the only factor. I don't feel that this flower shop cared about me enough to communicate with me to to make sure I was happy and I'm deeply disappointed in Miss Daisy. I really hope that it doesn't happen to...

Read moreWhat a wonderful company to work with! Extremely friendly, and accommodating staff with an eye for floral design and great at recreating visions. I am from Detroit and had my wedding in Las Vegas. I must say it is very hard to plan a wedding in another state, let alone with a time change. Miss Daisy was amazing to work with. They stayed within my budget and had a visual floral proposal made up for me within a few days of letting them know what I was looking for. They were also very reasonably priced and very responsive throughout the whole process. The best part is on the day of my wedding everything was promptly delivered, and all the flowers exceeded my expectations. Everything was incredibly beautiful, and looked very similar to the photos and maybe even better. Amanda/Jessica and her team, were even kind enough to package some of my floral pieces up from my wedding for me, and send them to Michigan for us to enjoy at home. Don't waste your time looking for other florists, Miss...
