We haven’t had Persian food for a while, so we decided to try this restaurant. Everything was delicious and we were not disappointed!
We came early Friday night (a little after 6pm) and so seatings were still open. Ahead of us was a family who was wrapping up as we were sitting down. The spoke Arabic so that was a great sign!
The restaurant is beautiful on the inside, from top to bottom. Not overly decorated that it looks crowded but enough to look casual as well as elegant. We looked over the menu and ordered an appetizer and our entrees.
Appetizer was the Kashk O Bademjan: sautéed eggplant with garlic, walnut, top with yogurt sauce (kashk) and mint oil. It was delicious, savory, deep and rich in flavors. It was served with their taftoon bread. The bread is flat, not too thick but thin; thicker than a cracker but thinner than a flatbread. It was perfect to scoop the sautéed eggplant and devour every bite!
The entrees were (1) beef Koobideh which has 2 skewers of ground beef and (2) Koobideh combo which has 1 skewer of ground beef and 1 skewer of ground chicken. Both served with rice, grilled tomato, serrano pepper and some raw onions. I sprinkled some sumac onto my rice and onions to add a kick to it. Both meat were good and the bed of basmati rice was buttery and perfectly cooked. Every bite with the meat, rice, serrano pepper and the grilled tomato was just DELICIOUS!
The waitstaff were very friendly, courteous, checked on us but also gave us space to enjoy our meals.
The last thing that gained major points with me was the bathroom: It was VERY clean!! Major props to them for keeping this area clean and presentable. Too many have dirty restrooms and storing supplies in there so it was good to see they take pride in there restaurant by keeping it clean.
I also found out they have been in business for 10 yrs now. That’s amazing that they survived Covid and the various competitors around Vegas! I definitely will come...
Read moreI have been a local resident of Las Vegas for years, and as an Iranian, I always seek out Persian cuisine to feel connected to my culture. Unfortunately, every single time I’ve visited Hafez Persian Cuisine, I’ve had an absolutely terrible experience. I’m writing this review to warn others, especially fellow Iranians, about the consistently awful service at this restaurant.
Firstly, the front host, an Afghani guy, is extremely rude. He never greets anyone with the warmth and hospitality one would expect from a Persian restaurant. He is always dismissive and unfriendly, often telling customers that the restaurant is closed even when there’s an hour left before closing. It’s as if they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to dine there. The first few times this happened, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after experiencing this same attitude repeatedly, it became clear that this is how they treat their customers regularly.
What’s even more shocking is that when I asked to speak to the manager to address the issue, the same rude host claimed that he was the manager. This business is a complete joke. It’s baffling to me how they can expect to keep customers coming back when their staff is so unprofessional and hostile.
As a local and a proud Persian, I find it disrespectful that this restaurant treats Iranian people so poorly. Instead of hiring someone who has no understanding or respect for our culture, they should reconsider how they run their business and who they hire to represent them. This restaurant is a disgrace to Persian cuisine and hospitality.
To any Iranians visiting Las Vegas, I highly recommend avoiding Hafez Persian Cuisine. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration, and find a restaurant that truly values its customers and our rich culture. Don’t waste your time or money on a place that clearly doesn’t care about offering a decent...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable restaurant near the Strip, and I cannot contain my excitement about the exceptional experience I had. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The owner, who also serves as the operator, runs the place with such dedication and passion that it's truly commendable.
The food itself is beyond amazing, boasting flavors that transport you to the heart of Persia. Every dish is meticulously prepared and served in contemporary Persian-style cookware and plates, adding an extra touch of authenticity to the whole experience. The quality of the ingredients used is undeniable, and it's evident that great care goes into each and every dish.
What pleasantly surprised me was the reasonable pricing. In a city notorious for its inflated prices, this restaurant stands out by offering dishes that won't break the bank. It's refreshing to find a place that values both quality and affordability, making it accessible to a wide range of diners.
The ambience of the restaurant is simply delightful. With its tasteful decor, warm lighting, and inviting atmosphere, it creates a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Additionally, the ample parking available is a welcome convenience, allowing for a hassle-free visit.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It's a hidden gem in Sin City, where you can indulge in authentic Persian cuisine that rivals the best of what you would find in its native land. The dedication of the owner operator, the delectable food, reasonable prices, and charming ambience make it a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike. Don't miss out on this culinary delight just minutes away from the...
