Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Leawood

I rarely ever write reviews on google but my experience at this location was outrageous. Went in with my family at around 8 pm. Walking in there was a family of 3 and another individual customer. It took my family and me 45 mins to get our ice cream as the workers were extremely slow. Not only that, the employees had their friends come from outside who then went over the counter and started to have full on conversations and completely ignored the family in front of us. At one point one of the employees friends decided to make himself his own ice cream cup in front of us and just walked out. Finally after they left the family and the young lady in front of us had been served and it was our turn. After beginning to prepare my ice cream, the employee abruptly took off his gloves and pulled out his phone to answer a phone call from his friend. His phone call lasted about 5 minutes of him just laughing and cracking jokes with whoever he was on the phone with. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I was extremely disappointed with...

I did an online order and when I got to the store my order wasn’t ready. It was ok with me to wait. I ordered the Chocolate SIlk® Shake (prepared with almond milk and mixed with almond milk according to the app) but then she started using regular milk to mix it and make the shake. I asked her and she said that they don’t use almond milk for any shake because they don’t have almond milk. I’m lactose intolerant so I finally decided to not do the shake. Please… if you have an allergy or intolerance and you are planning to get this shake don’t go to this store. Since I’m lactose intolerant I usually order this same shake and in other stores they mix the Chocolate Silk Almond Milk Ice cream with Almond milk NEVER with regular milk. Be careful and don’t go to this store.

I also did order a “Don't Cry Over Spilled Silk” and she didn’t know how to prepare it. She asked me to look for the order in my phone so she can read what toppings put in it. Don’t go to this store. They are slow and...

I ordered and prepaid for a birthday cake when I was in store on 7/11. My husband picked up the cake for me the next day and the employee told him it needed to be paid for, so he paid (again)! Been calling the store since last Thursday and cannot get a response from the owner who supposedly is the only one capable of processing a credit…………got exactly the cake I ordered, but no 6” cake is worth over $80!!
