Michaels — Local services in Lenexa

So this is a new location for Michael's and still has that new store smell going on. It was a so much fun figuring out where everything was located. The yarn section, my main goal for this visit, was in the back left corner of the store and let me just say wow! Such a nice variety of yarn. I will ne making my way back to this store again. I unfortunately didnt find what I was looking for and had to go to Hobby Lobby for it. I was looking for a bigger crochet hook for a blanket and its understandable that Michales didn't have it because they don't sell the thick yarn that requires the big hooks. Wither way I did love the selection of yarn available and all the goodies there were to see with this new store. If you are wanting to purchase fabric from Michael's, you might want to look elsewhere. I have purchased it twice. Both times my yardage was less than requested by about 2 inches. I mentioned it the second time to the associate. The associate stated the table is too small. Therefore I had to up the amount purchasing in order to have enough for the project. In the future, I will shop somewhere else for fabric. - Side note, don't go if you want to get in and out of the store either. I had to wait over 10 minutes for an associate to come to cut fabric. Had to wait an extended period of time for the one cashier as you can't use self check out for a fabric purchase. In the future, I will skip over Michael's for my...

Despite my intention to buy a natural plant that I'll use in my bedroom, I found a shorter plastic plant. Problem solved!

It was great to step inside where's the warmness & sun had no chance to affect the mood, especially mine. That probably was the chances of others shopping along with me.
