Spencer's — Local services in Leominster

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don’t know who the new manager is or how long she’s been in the Leominster location but she needs a massive recap on customer service skills ASAP! The way she talks to customers is atrocious and as someone who’s worked for this location in the past she knew that and threw it at me every chance she got during my exchange. I was not giving a hard time I was just speaking out loud about the products I was exchanging and the issues I was having. The sales associate (lovely gentleman) that ended up helping me and completing my exchange was able to hear what I had to say, understand I wasn’t upset, and doing what I could with my exchange was 100% okay with me and for that I let him know he had great customer service and I thanked him profusely. If someone in a position under you has better customer service than you and you’re a manager that is SO sad and I hope you’re able to reevaluate yourself and how you interact with people going further.

So rude! Half an hour before closing they were holding the gate low so people couldn't get in. We walked down to another store to pick something up, and when we came back by spencer's, there was 16 minutes till closing. My friend wanted to show me what she wanted, (we checked the time to make sure we weren't going in 2 minutes before closing as not to be /those people/). The employee roughly shoved up the gate, and stormed to the registers and started complaining to his co worker. My friend apologized and said she'd only be a minute, and was ignored. I know spencer's employees are supposed to be edgy, but this behavior should not be acceptable, no matter what time before closing...

Shopping at Spencer’s is always a fun and great experience. One of their employees in particular really made my visit there special! Alisha was quick with greeting me as soon as I came in, and so eager to help me find the best birthday gift for my brother! I’m a very indecisive person and I don’t think I could have found the perfect gift without her engaging attitude and expertise.
