My mom and I went to Bandera Bowl on Tuesday and Wednesday and our experience at the Pro Shop was incredible. Tuesday night we met Bo. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. I asked if he can hold onto a new bowling ball for me and that I would pay for it the next day and he said yes, it wasn’t a problem! Wednesday afternoon we met a guy named Matt. Like Bo, Matt was very knowledgeable and was incredibly nice and patient with us. He didn’t have to see me throw a few frames, he looked at my ball and knew what would be the best layout for me. We did the measurements and picked out the grips. As soon as my ball was ready, I went to the lanes and threw a 245! I’d also like to note that I used to grip the ball when I bowl, causing my thumb to be in a lot of pain after bowling. This pain would last days. I made both of them aware of this and they drilled it and adjusted the span in a way that I was able to not only comfortably throw my bowling ball but I can throw it pain free!!!
If you want a Pro Shop where the employees are respectful, patient, intelligent, and know how to drill a ball to best fit your hand and benefit your game the most, I HIGHLY recommend...
Read moreAs a new resident in San Antonio, it was not easy finding a good pro shop. We went to one across town and purchased a Storm SonIQ for me, and a Global Badger for my husband ( I also had the guy plug & drill a ball my sister sent me from Cali) , then we purchased a Hammer Statement. We were having problems with all of those balls so we went into the StrikeZone one day and Bo was a blessing! He redrilled my SonIQ, looked at the my husbands equipment and determined he had damage (cracks near the finger tips)on the Hammer Statement that could’nt be fixed. Long story short, we are thrilled with the knowledge and professionalism Bo Littlefield has shown us. I ended up buying a Storm Crux Prime for me, and a new Hammer Statement for my husband from Bo and have been bowling pain free and the game is getting better every week! Thanks Bo, you...
Read moreI'm an experienced bowler, I get some things change but... We bought a ball, bag and shoes. They had to order the shoes, they took measurements of my fiance's fingers but that's it. When we came and picked it up the ball had been drilled without her there. When I asked about the inserts for the finger holes I was informed plastic balls do not get them. Just standard drilling. That is pure BS because my spare balls have always had them and the drilling was always a custom fit to me. For the prices they charge they need to change how they do business. I will not do business with them again. We'll buy the balls online and we'll go to Wayne's to get it drilled. He's all about fitting the ball to you. They're a long way for us to go anyway so no, I will not recommend...
