My family and I always have gone to this location at Peter Pipers .. I have two disabled children one with severe autism and the other with ADHD. I choose to seat my children in the back where it would be calmer and we wouldn't be in anyone's way. I like to add it was Saturday night and there was a lot of people and not a lot of options to sit.The table didn't have any sign saying it was reserved for anyone or table cloth on so I thought "this is great plenty of room for my family of 6"!. Two adults and four children . It's always been hard to take our kids out so we were really looking forward to yesterdays night. All that changed when one of the female employes came up to me and said "we have to move you because this table is reserved already for a party . I had been sitting with my children already and my husband was already coming back with the food. I told the employe that there wasnt a sign or cloth saying it was reversed already and I would need my husband help moving our kids to another table which there wasn't .. Her immediate response was I need to put everything on the table because its reversed and I can have someone move your kids for you ? I told her again my husband has to help me because my children with special needs could go off because now we have to move again .. it's the little things that could make them go off and make a hard night for us..I was really shocked because of how unprofessional she became when she went to another employee to complain about me saying how I didn't want to move .. Then the other female employes that was filled in on what was happening came up to me and stated again how they need me to get up so they could reserve the spot .. I couldn't believe they couldn't just wait for my husband to come back and help me.. I stated there wasn't a reserved sign or cloth on the table again and said just like I told the other girl I can't because of my children. That's when my husband came with the food and said what's wrong ? He could obviously see the distress in my face because of the situation. I told him that they wanted us to move the kids and he said that it didn't have a sign saying it was reserved.. it felt horrible how my kids were so happy to get the pizza but now we have to move even more stuff to where ever there was space .. my husband asked for the manger which he never came out ...so my husband being my husband said we will just stay here then .. so he passed out the plates to the children with pizza . All this to say we stayed there but the employees gave ugly looks and and it was just a horrible experience.. the whole atmosphere was just...
Read more3 generations of my family loves this place and has for years. This Bandera store has been there a good while and compared to some newer locations isn't much to look at but the staff is professional and courteous, it's always clean and whenever we've had any problems they've fixed it asap. 2/6/2023 we went for my 60th birthday without any reservation or party planning. We had no problem getting a table for 16 right away. It was unexpectedly busy for a Monday night but that didn't impact the timeliness of getting our orders. My grandkids got to play all the games they love and won a decent amount of tickets for what we gave them to play with. We brought our own birthday cake and bought everyone an ice cream. There were at least 3 bussers continually roaming around stocking, cleaning tables and picking up our plates and trash. I wish I'd gotten the bussers name that was extra helpful to us but didn't but whoever he is he's an asset to your company. Constructive criticism would be to offer more specials for larger walk-in groups, to offer more selections of foods and to get better quality and more selections of toys the kids can trade their tickets in for. All the years I've gone there and only last year did I learn about your ice cream. Now I have to have it every...
Read moreI love this location and have been a frequent customer for years. The professional decorum displayed by the employees when dealing with customers exceeds expectations. On numerous occasions, I've witnessed entitled, childlike customers treat the employees like absolute garbage. There are grown men (you know, real middle aged Chads who are the epitome of alpha masculinity and divorced dad energy) who want to fight female employees over a pizza being a minute too late; an adult woman screaming at a teenager about not being served fast enough (in front of her children, no less. Hope they take keen notes about how not to act as a "grown up"); drunks who go to a family pizza place and yell at staff for the drink policy (the list goes on). Reading these reviews makes it blatantly obvious that some of the patrons view themselves as third-rate plantation owners (who could use a lesson in basic literacy) where the employees are subhuman servants, meant to obey every nonsensical whim a customer may have. I respect the employees for continuing to demonstrate such professionalism with all customers and provide the best experience possible. God bless you all. You guys are America's...
