If I could give this review zero stars I would. My experience with the Carnales Furniture store in Lewisville. I was approved for credit and ordered a complete bedroom set which was advertised on the website has available. A sales person named Ricardo called me to advise me that the bedroom set was not available until October from the manufacturer. I was bummed because I really wanted this particular bedroom set. Reluctantly, I show a similar set and was provided the same delivery timeframe.
Ricardo did advise that he had spoken to the manufacturer of the allure bedroom set that I wanted and that they advised that they could deliver it mid September. I was extremely happy to hear of this update and proceeded with the purchase.
Moreover, on yesterday I received an apologetic text from the Ricardo that the manufacturer actually advised that they won't have the furniture until November!!! This completely made me upset as I have already sold my old bedroom set and moved to my new home under the impression that the new bedroom set would arrive mid September. I asked what could be done for me due to this major inconvenience. A lady named Evelyn then texted me to advise that they would waive the delivery fee. Really? A delivery fee when the furniture will still not arrive until November??? I then asked in the text for a member of management or the owners contact information. She professionally responded that she would call me right away.
To my surprise a gentleman called stating that he was a supervisor and that it was the manufacturer's fault not theirs and that they would only be offering me a delivery fee waiver. I advised him that that was not acceptable and that I wanted to escalate the matter further by speaking with the owners. He then advised that he was the owner of the store. Wait what??? You just said that you were the supervisor. By this point I became unglued and went off in which he hung up.
I am now filing a BBB complaint against the store. To this very moment they are still advertising the allure furniture bedroom set as though it is available for immediate purchase and delivery.
The so called supervisor/owner was extremely unprofessional, continued to speak over me, lack any sympathy or empathy for my situation. He also lacked proper communication skills and effective ways to diffuse an upset customer.
This is not how you should treat your customers!!!!!

Read moreI would like to share my whole-heartedly positive experience with Canales Furniture, and especially Karina Polio (at the Lewisville location), whom did a fantastic job of helping me with my choices. The store itself is well-designed and well-maintained, being kept clean and orderly (aside from some fake items to help provide an idea what their protection plans are good to protect again), with a nice selection of items. They do an excellent job with the space they have, providing a variety of different settings and potential ideas for what you might want to provide for your house. Everyone has always been light-hearted and polite, and Karina not only showed me the items that were available on their sales floor, but also showed me through a number of their different catalogs for plans for the future. Additionally, the two people who came to actually deliver and setup the devices were professional: not only did I get called the night before to let me know the times that the delivery might take place, but I was also called before they came (early), asking if the time was fine. They did their work quickly and well, without any damage. There are some minor cosmetic scuffs I noticed later (which is on me, as they did invite me to look over everything, but these are very minor), but overall, it does exactly what I want: it makes my bedroom nice, cozy, and lets me relax. Read moreRUN AWAY!! OVERPRICED! TERRIBLE QUALITY !! And they will not make things right when they deliver you defective product. I ordered a mattress set and wall clock from the Lewisville location. Upon delivery we noticed the wall clock was defective. The delivery guy tried to fix it with a plier and we were like absolutely not. Evelyn the sales girl charged us $100 to replace the clock with a new one. They literally wrapped the old clock and resent it because the new clock had the same problem as the clock we just returned. I took it back and asked that they give us a new product as after paying $311 for a wall clock we will not have one that did not work at all. They refused stating that it was past 24 hour return timeframe and for me to take it up with the manufacturer. I am like really!!!!! How does a buyer know who your manufacturer is?? I purchased the clock in store and Canales delivered it to construction workers at our home. How do you expect to have 24 hour turn around on a delivery. He stated he needed to file a claim.
