I love this store on the first 2 times coming here right before national pandemic and right after the store were able to open again. Employees (mid 30-40 ish) were so nice greeting everyone and very helpful to people when they checked out. But it was a bad experience which I will not come back to this store. I went to buy a few planters during on Memorial Day sales. I got in line to check out with 2 medium pots. When it's my turn to check out, the cashier (in her early 20s) told me to go get another pots with the barcode stickers (I didn't realize the pots I picked didn't have the stickers on, as every pots that I looked at had a price tag). So I went back to pick 2 more pots and with stickers and hold all 4 pots in my hands. I went back to the check out station where I was told to go get other pots with the price tag, she was finishing with a customer and she asked "Next" when she saw me standing there and was about to talk to her. I said "I have the 2 pots with price tags here, can you check these out for me as you told me to go get the ones with price tags?". The cashier replied "ok, I'll check them out for you after the next customer". What?! I was already waited in line before and now I had to wait again while she could cash these out for me now instead making me waited after another customer?! So I was waited as she told me to (this never happened to me at any store I have ever shopped at). After about 3-4 minutes, I saw the cashier next to that cashier just finished with her customer and was waiving at the line to help the next customer. I thought she might be able to help me and save me a few more minutes as my hands got tired from holding onto all 4 pots for a while. So I approached that cashier and asked "can you cash these out for me as you see your colleague is busy with her customer?". She was hesitant to answer and the cashier who told me to wait spoke up "I'll help you after this customer". I was like "ok". And went back to wait on the other side for next customer to check out. A couple minutes later, I had it. I didn;t want to wait any longer, my fingers were getting too tired and would give in and I might drop these 4 pots anytime. In my head I thought to myself, why would I have to wait in line already, and came back with the pots with price stickers so the cashier could cash the 2 pots I like out, but I had to wait again after another customer, and her colleague could not cash me out either?!?! What kind of training these younger employees have at this store I wonder. I totally got tired from waiting. A Friday afternoon after work, shopping for some cute planters, and they had ruined it for me. I left these 4 pots there and walked out. Other stores would ask someone there to find the items with price tags for their customers. And they would check out for customers right away when they came back with items which had price tags and that they already waited in line right before that but couldn't check out. Terrible customer service!!! I would not recommend this store to anyone, regardless of a big collection they have. I could go to TJMaxx, Marshalls, Home Depot, Walmart, Ikea, etc. and have much better shopping experience like...
Read moreI am a regular customer at this particular location but I feel as though that will be short-lived unfortunately, I say that because on one of my many trips to at home this particular trip was quite disturbing, while walking through the store I passed down an aisle and overheard a conversation the supervisor Debbie was having with another employee and to say the level of embarrassment I felt for the employee would be an understatement. Not only did the supervisor raise her voice at the employee but she also belittled the employee in front of customers and other employees. I couldn’t imagine the humiliation the employee felt at that moment. I find this behavior very rude and disrespectful. Nobody should be treated this way especially not an employee coming to work during an ongoing pandemic if this is the way employees are treated here it is unfortunate for me to say I will no longer be doing business here! Read moreI have had a few bad experiences at this store. The sales they have are confusing and misleading. I was purchasing some garden items and certain things were on sale and other items were not, even though they were in the same aisle with the sale signage. A lot of damaged merchandise or had parts missing. The store looks junky and not well thought out. The solar lighting was in 4 different locations. The merchandise was not organized just thrown on the shelves. Very random. I know it is towards the end of summer but the same product should be together. Tons of open packages and product out of the boxes made it look like a overpriced garage sale. Their prices are pretty high. I prefer home goods and big lots over this store. Both of those stores are much more organized, have higher quality products at a much better price. They need a team to go through that store to clean it up and re merchandise the place.
