I’ve been to this Plato’s Closet location a few times now and have had a terrible experience every single time. I have never once dealt with a nice worker, they are all always rude with horrible attitudes and obnoxious. I’ve been in a few where the workers have been at the front desk literally screaming which is just straight up annoying. Yesterday I brought in a bin full of clothes to try to sell. When I walked in I was not greeted with a smile or a welcome and instead was given attitude when being explained to on how to sell your clothes, I just found the attitude very unnecessary and rude. I decided to shop around for a little while I waited for them to sort my clothes. I found numerous items with stains and that looked extremely worn. I found a pair of lululemon leggings hanging on the rack with a giant bleach stain and another pair of lululemon leggings that were just in terrible condition being extremely pilled and covered in hair and fuzz. I also tried on a denim skirt that I didn’t even attempt to button because the button was literally hanging on by a thread and I didn’t want to break it. Also while shopping, I was looking at a clothing rack that was near the front desk. I hear one of the girls say loudly “why would we EVER buy this, who would even think that we would buy this” and I look over to see that it is one of my dresses she is holding up and absolutely bashing. After she says that she throws the dress onto the counter and goes on to look thru the rest of my clothes. ALSO I decided to try on a few items so I went and waited over by the fitting rooms and one of the workers says with the most attitude ever “do you uh need a fitting room?” like thanks for asking but lose the attitude and same worker that checked me out because I decided to buy a pair of shorts, she told me again with the most attitude possible “you know ur gonna have to pay tax on that.” One last thing is all they ever do is post on their social media how badly they want guys clothes so I brought in 10 guys items that were all in perfect condition and popular brands and they took 1 item. Again all of my items where popular brands and in amazing condition but the workers must just pick and choose at random what they want to buy because they only took a small amount of...

Platos closet, is no different than shopping at a drift store or maybe even a flea market. The employees, the clothing, and prices are really good. It's the environment and atmosphere of the place that really sucks. The lighting is yellow and just screams dull and boring. The carpet is the worst part of the whole place it's just looks dirty, who ever was there interior designer has no taste at all, because nothing matches with anything in the store. And there's a lack of consistency throughout the store that really makes you want to get what you came for and leave. The lack of shelving for the shoes, in the front of the store just looks disorganized and unprofessional, and that's the first thing you see before you walk in, and I almost walked back into my car. As well as the the shelving for accessories makes the whole place look unorganized, there is no consistency it's all just random and ugly looking, the workers can only do so much to make the store look better, and I had good service while I was there from the employees. I don't know what's up with the bins in the back of the counter but we as customers we shouldn't be seeing that, it just shows that the store didn't have enough money for closets or a better work station. It gets worse than that, the changing rooms are visible for everyone too see, there's no dedicated closed off area for the changing room, which can make anyone uncomfortable, especially because there's no separation between gender, and you can see everyone's feet. When I heard about Platos Closet on the radio, they advertised themselves as something better than a second hand store, but... in all honestly it's false advertisement. The store needs a complete overhaul, because no one likes to shop at second hand stores, but if the environment was different it wouldn't feel like like you were shopping at Macy's but with cheaper prices, and this change would bring in more people because ive been there 6 times and it's always dead inside. Just so you know Platos closet, appearances are everything especially if your running a fashion store, and that's where Platos closet fails. Last Wednesday, December 28th around 10am I took me and my mother into Plato’s closet, she was interested and curious about this store. So we go in, first thing my mother sees a young lady with her butt up on the counter taking selfies, one this is ignorant and disgusting completely unsanitary but not only were these young girls not able to explain how they priced out the clothing which I was shocked at the pricing… My mother found a sweatshirt that I currently bought one several days ago at the price of $7.88 at Walmart, they sold here for $11 outrageous for a used clothing store legitimately this store is outrageously priced the store was in disarray the four girls who were working all were singing and taking selfies and having a great time in the back when there’s plenty to be done in the store. I am a small business owner myself and if my store was looking messy and I saw the girls messing around not doing anything but taking selfies and jumping up on the counter, I would definitely be having a staff meeting. I am all about fun at work, but this is just careless work and poor knowledge of the actual store they work at, they know very little of. The one girl was nice that was out of the little bully click the other girls were about, she was obviously caring about her customers and I commend you for that.but since I’ve came in several times, the girls are like an episode of mean girls, can’t even fake a smile, catty and put down the older women looking at clothes.
