Azzurra City Tours is by far one of the most memorable experiences my fiancé and I have EVER had. From the start Renato was nothing but amazing at helping her plan our big day, our engagement. After it all she told me how helpful, thoughtful and easy it was to work with him for this special day. Renato was open to her ideas as well as provided her with suggestions, including our wonderful photographer which he recommended.

Upon arriving Renato welcomed us with such much joy and excitement (he is also very good at keeping surprises haha)

Neither of us had ever been on a small plane. My partner is also scared of heights, so of course we were nervous. Well that ended as soon as we met Renato. Not only was he welcoming but he was descriptive about the experience before hand and told us exactly what to expect. We felt safe and also very comfortable to ask him any questions we had.

We enjoyed the space, it was so cozy and well equipped. The plane was very comfortable and We loved how conscious he was about it being our first time. We took so many wonderful photos and videos. It truly was an experience we will never forget and cannot wait to repeat.

We did the morning ride since we had other plans after and when they said “it’s all about perspective” it’s not a lie, I’ve always loved NYC but after this ride I’m even much more in love. I cannot emphasize how amazing everything was.

Please if you are hesitating if whether to book Azzurra City Tours or another company please remember with Azzurra you will have a once in a lifetime experience from beginning to end. Nothing about this experience is generic and that speaks volume !

I booked this experience with Captain Renato for my girlfriends birthday as a surprise. Little did I know I was just as surprised as her when I got to experience Renatos amazing warmth and hospitality! He truly made this experience 100x more enjoyable. As soon as we walked in through the door, we were immediately greeted with a beautiful and romantic ambiance, a bottle of red wine, and just great and chill vibes all around. The safety briefing was serious but laid back at the same time. Renato explained to us how everything would go down such as boarding the plane, what we would see during the flight, how long it would last, and what would happen in the unlikely event of an emergency. Throughout the entire flight he gave us a really awesome tour of Manhattan and pointed out all the cool sites and monuments and we both learned new things as fellow New Yorkers. We even got to hang back after we landed and deplaned and finish the rest of our wine. We can honestly say Renato is more of a friend than just a pilot (even though he’s a great pilot too!). He offered to take as many pictures as we wanted before, during, and after the flight as well which was really fun and memorable (for the girls out there this is a dream come true). Overall, the flight was amazing, the vibes, the experience, and the friendliness and very warm and inviting hospitality and service from Captain Renato was truly unforgettable. I HIGHLY recommend you guys to book him for whichever type of occasion whether it be a birthday, anniversary, or proposal trust me he’ll make it perfect and then some!...

Sooo disappointed and angry. Azzurra City Tours are not reliable, customer friendly nor respectful. I booked and paid for the tour a month before my 9year wedding anniversary. 2 days before I sent a message confirming the appointment and asked what time we should arrive. That evening I received an email from Capitan Renato stating my scheduled time is unavailable and asking if I can do 12pm instead 10am. I expressed my confusion because I booked the tour a month in advance and that 12 was an inconvenience. You see; I planned the tour during school hours since I dont have a babysitter. The response I received was: " If you are interested in doing the tour at 12, it is available.". I sent another message asking for flight time, does the tour start at 12 or 1 because theres an hour for critical onboarding and safety briefings. Well guess what happened next. Nothing. Nada. No response from Capitan Renato. While I was searching for their phone number, I received a message from my credit card company stating a refund has been made by Azzurra City Tours. So now its the night before my anniversary and since it's my year to plan the activity I'm scrambling trying to find something to do in such a short notice. What a disappointment. I was looking forward to the flight. My husband has been talking for years stating he wants to take flight lessons. I thought this would have been great. BUT NOPE. Never again...
