This was my first Farmer's Market experience! Where I'm from we had "fruit stands" that sold only fruit and veggies. My husband and I are new to the Arkansas area, and wanted some local honey for allergy purposes. Grocery run after grocery run...no luck! Until...whoo hoo! I found a sign for a farmer's market, and good old Google came into play. Needless to say we left with wayyyyy more than honey (thanks Mr. Pat😉). Hummus, scones, lip balms, lotions, strawberries, zucchini, wonderful smelling soaps and a test of some lemonade infused with tea (very good)! New contacts on locally made tea bags(thanks Travis and Jen)...I'm in love😍! Why didn't I think if this earlier...🤔! Everyone was really nice and informative on their items and happily answered every question we had about everything lol! Thanks guys and gals you all are awesome. Read moreI was at the gas station across the street on a Saturday morning and heard several drums playing so I had to go check it out since I'm a musician. Some really nice people had brought several different types of percussion instruments for anybody who wants to play to play one. I'm a guitarist and definitely not a good drummer. But they patiently welcomed me into the circle and I had a good time jamming with them. Read moreThis is such a cute and awesome farmers market! It can be very crowded at times and the vendors stay mostly the same but have great items to purchase. Fresh fruits and veg and eggs! There is a vendor who makes dog treats that seem to be a hit with my dogs, and so much more. SOMA is a great area to explore. Parking is a bit of an issue but if you get out and walk you see some really cool old houses and can visit several great...
