Beware – Greasy Tactics and Counterfeit Items at an “Authentic” Collectibles Show
I attended a Card Show hosted by Pro Sports Zone, which markets itself as an authentic collectibles store. To my shock, counterfeit Labubu figures were being sold right on the store owner’s table.
When I informed the owner, he brushed it off, saying, “It’s not my problem — the jewelry guy is selling them.” The reality? He was selling them for that vendor, on his own table, while the vendor failed to disclose they were fakes. When confronted about selling counterfeits at an event advertised for authentic items, he claimed it wasn’t his responsibility to verify authenticity — an incredibly greasy and unprofessional stance for a so-called collectibles expert.
This disregard for integrity is unacceptable. I have reported Pro Sports Zone to the FTC, the Attorney General, and Popmart’s copyright infringement department.
If you value authenticity, ethics, and respect for the collecting community, avoid Pro Sports Zone and any events it hosts. Supporting counterfeit sales — and then dodging responsibility — is the lowest form...

Hi John, I don't know anything about you or your business, but I watched you and your buddy from the jewelery kiosk carry the counterfeit Labubus over, I watched you clear a table for him in front of your store (a table that had already been set up and you moved) and then watched you and your buddy set the fakes up.
I also asked if you were in charge of the card show before mentioning the fakes, you proudly said you co-ran the show and owned the store, and thus imho would be the person to talk with seeing as you both brought fake collectables into the show, and also should be the person ensuring no greasy scammers screw over innocent customers with fraudulent collectables.
There is no dragging through the mud, just an honest review that even includes a photo of the fakes as proof.
I had the misfortune of seeing Pro Sports Zone sell fake/counterfeit Labubu dolls as authentic real ones at their local card show on their vendor table outside of their storefront. These were obvious forgeries, as can be seen by the attached photo. When informed of the counterfeit nature of the dolls, the owner John said he "didn't care" that it "wasn't his problem or job to guarantee authenticity". I find this incredibly problematic for a collectables store owner, so felt the need to leave a review so others might be spared getting sold a fake by a greasy...
Read moreI'm going to contradict some of these other people that put a 1 star on this business. A Mr. Paul Brown wrote that the owner should own a gas station? Lol...the owner is a nice dude that is running a great business that is not over priced. I'm sorry that some people don't understand capitalism and also more than likely do not own any type of business whatsoever. I have been following this location for well over a year now and had a GREAT experience when I went to the actual store. I bought an item online and stopped by to pick it up. Not only did I get a great deal on the autographed item, I also walked out with an Auto Moore Jersey for a VERY GREAT price. Anywhere else I would have paid alot more. And for those that say "cheaper prices online" thinking that you get such a great deal everywhere else....I will forewarn you that alot of the "Cheap" stuff online is not real. I bought a jersey one time which came from China and obviously was probably one of the worst knock-offs I could have ever purchased. Only got it because it was cheap....you get what you pay for. Bottomline....business is run great, the advertising is run great, the knowledge of items is definitely there, and you can pretty much get whatever you want from here. And that is all coming from a business...
