Central Milling Logan — Local services in Logan

I purchased (2) 50# bags of Khorasan wheat berries from the Logan location. After returning home (50 miles) both bags were opened to discover that the wheat was full of chaff, in-shell berries, as well as a few tiny rocks. Nowhere near the quality or experience I have had with other suppliers of this product. I contacted Central Milling to let them know what I had found. This was the response: “We concluded that you must have got the last two bags of the batch, and sometimes, the last part of the boxes end up with in-shell kernels; it's rare but does happen.” After investigating my claim it was apparent that they had sold an inferior product. However; no refund or discount was given and an exchange refused stating: “we won't be able to exchange the Khorasan because the bag has been opened.” Not a company that stands behind the admittedly inferior product that they sold.
