Really disappointed on this one. The place is really cool and inviting but the food feels like it's made by people who are just burnt out and don't care. Two others and I had the chicken parm sandwich, fries and a couple fountain drinks and it came to about $40. We all honestly felt a bit robed at the end of the "meal". The fries were obviously cheap as you can buy frozen crap, and the sandwiches... oh the sandwiches... I really don't know how you can mess up a chicken parm sandwich so badly! Its an accomplishment really. The bread was OK but pretty bland, and the sandwich as a whole did look really good, and it was hot. However, it was one of the most bland, tasteless sandwiches I've ever had! The marinara sauce is laughably bad, I really don't know how its so bland, and the chicken tasted old and was stringy and chewy and was cut into small pieces, oh and it was bland too (sensing a theme?). I want to give it another try and go for the pizza, but if the sauce is the same they use on the sandwich then i'll probably just avoid it all together. I really wanted to like this place because of atmosphere and the only reason I'm giving it a 2 star instead of 1 is because of that. Fix your sauce and I...
Read moreOverpriced and not that good. I will not go back. The large pizza is about the same size as a Little Caesar's pizza and runs about $17 currently for a 2 topping. (Papa Johns, Papa Murphy's and others are bigger pizzas and better tasting and less money). I asked for alfredo sauce, rather than red, and they charged me $2 extra. The crust is like a regular bread crust rather than a traditional pizza crust. We had 6 people in the group and not one would eat the crust part (a first in my family) where normally that is a favorite. We had one person in the group that had a coupon from Happenings Book for 50% off a pizza. For that person they raised the price on the 3 topping pizza from $17.99 to $26 claiming the chicken was extra and so was the afredo sauce and charged $13 for a 1/2 priced pizza that should have been $9. So if you are using a coupon beware they are dishonest and arbitrarily change prices. Take my advice and just go somewhere else. You'll save money and have a better pizza. (The good part of this place is that the alfredo sauce was good and the crust...

I’ve been coming to this place for years—and I should’ve left this review a long time ago. The man running it? He’s a true hard-working man, dedicated, and never stops moving. Even at their busiest, he keeps the whole place running smooth without missing a beat.
The food? Always on point. Consistent, hearty, and full of flavor— It hasn’t changed much over the years, and that’s exactly what makes it special. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just real good food!
The atmosphere? Flat-out awesome. Comforting, fun, and full of good energy. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, you walk in and feel at home.
And yep—they serve alcohol. Some places don’t, but this one does, and I love being able to sit down with a cold drink and a solid meal after a long day’s work. It’s just the cherry on top of an already great experience.
This place is more than just a restaurant—it’s a piece of what America was built on: hard work, consistency, and community.
